UPDATE 1/16 (2): I think we can conclude this post. My opinion is that this is a total hoax and a very good one. My verdict is that it’s a fake because it is without a doubt a direct copy of the Kiev sound video and the person who originally filmed it admits he brought his laptop to the woods. This is very disappointing and I find it very sad that what I believe to be an important real phenomenon happening today is basically made into a joke with the end result being fear and distrust.
WHAT IF some of the metallic sky sound videos are real. What if there is something very wrong in our world. What if those few real ones are ignored and dismissed as fakes. What if they are a message or a warning that could alter humankind’s destructive course.
Well thanks to total crap like the Conklin video we might miss a real opportunity to hear an important message, whatever that may be. Do read this entire post below as you may find the developments interesting.
As the person who made the Conklin video says in the description of his video, NUFF SAID!
———————————–
This is really amazing. Just when I thought I would never see an impressive metallic sound video, here it is. Real or not it’s very impressive. Who are these people and what are they doing? They appear to be some sort of workers. The thing that makes this very significant is that there are actually people in the video. We have never seen this before.
I’ve never heard a metallic sound video so interwoven with the atmosphere. Listen to how it starts off with hissing, like a flame being lit, then grows into a loud roar. I’ve heard this sound before but not with this amount of detail. I watched their movements carefully and at certain points when it becomes suddenly loud they jerk their heads up to listen. This means the sound is not dubbed. At one point I think I can hear one of them say “craaayyy-Z”. They don’t look like the sort to create fakes and appear to be on official business. It’s getting weird out there. This is one that worries me.
UPDATE 1/13: After doing a little research they appear to be wearing logger helmets which makes sense. Conklin, Alberta appears to be in a remote forested area. Caution! This could be an elaborate hoax. It’s very convincing but take it as presented and be skeptical. Such a significant video is bound to be viral, meaning the person who owns it stands to make money.
UPDATE 1/13: After listening to this carefully and reading YT comments lets pick it apart a bit. Some say it sounds like Kiev? Does it? I’m not sure. It’s silent when the video starts, then the sound starts, after the sounds gets going we start to hear birds chirping. That’s strange because birds are chirping in the Kiev video. If you listen carefully you can also hear people talking at one point. Was it the loggers walkie talkies or people from the Kiev video? Why didn’t we hear voices before. One commenter says he did this type of logging work and he never heard that many birds. Someone thinks they are playing the video of Kiev on one phone and filming on another. I can’t seem to get the sound to line up with the Kiev. What do you think?
UPDATE 1/14: Because of the bird sounds, voices and lack of info or response from the YT poster, I’m downgrading this to not so believable. It has 50,000 hits on YT as 1/14. This site is getting hundreds of hits from people only hitting the Conklin post. It’s totally viral. I will upgrade it on the scale if we get more info.
UPDATE 1/15: From the comments section on this post: I’m currently working 15 minutes from Conklin and I can tell you personally the video is not fake. I spoke to others who were out in the bush that day and heard the noise as well. There have also been strange sightings out here as well. There is a lot of oil and gas work going on around here.
UPDATE 1/15: THE PLOT THICKENS: Looks like YT user thegiftlaker “borrowed” this from user Super0371 and thegiftlaker has now credited him. Poor Super0371 is going to miss out on all that ad revenue since it has already gotten 200,000 hits. Super0371′s description is simply “Nuff said”. What is THAT supposed to mean? Here are his comments:
I uploaded this video thats how thegiftlaker got it….he may be better than me on computers cus i dunno how his upload of my video is gettin the views, but thats fine i know him anyways.
ya took my laptop out into the bush lol (is he being sarcastic?)
UPDATE 1/16: A commenter on this post has informed me that the men in this video are not loggers but “slashers”. A slasher is considered a seismic job. This is the definition I found: Seismic crews create hundreds of small earthquakes using explosives and other energy sources. These vibrations are precisely measured by specialized equipment to compile a three-dimensional map of the sub-surface rock formations and petroleum reservoirs. Slashers are hourly wage employees for oil companies and are responsible for the safe operation of chainsaws and other equipment. Huh…did they say hundreds of small earthquakes!
plus: Sounds genuine, person has no related posts on YT, odd and unusual setting, very clear recording that sounds atmospheric, the people are responding to sound physically
minus: It’s a direct copy of the Kiev video and the person who originally filmed it admits he brought his laptop to the woods.
Sound familiar? This noise is truly horrible. More about the recent Bucharest sound and it’s twin here and here.

I’m going for the people that say its the Kiev sound on the phone. I could hear kids sometimes, there’s no other people in the forest.
It’s just sad that people would do this just for hits.
I heard the sound in Conklin AB.
I live in a teepee by the forest. I was feeling sick that day January 12, 2012, and was resting. It was around noon when I was awakened by the loud strange sound. The canvas walls of my teepee were vibrating. The sound recorded by the slash workers, (also wearing professional helmet slashing gear) in the forest is accurate, and real! Although, I felt the sound was coming from the ground, and the sky. The sound lasted approximately 15 very long minutes. I will never be the same again. It has left me feeling very unsetteled.
ME
Did it sound exactly the same as in the video?
That is awesome that you have got power to your teepee by the forest for your laptop and internet
connection. Perhaps you can give us modern world workers that drive around the same area
with cell phone boosters some pointers on how to get signals for our phones.
Yes it sounded just like the video with the slash workers in Conklin .
No I don`t have the internet at my teepee. I work at Meg Energy a few km past Conklin ( the Cristina Lake project). 2 weeks in camp and 1 week out at my teepee. The camp is like a 4ster hotel with all amenities. I do have a cell phone that works very well at my teepee site.
I’m currently working 15 minutes from Conklin and I can tell you personally the video is not fake. I spoke to others who were out in the bush that day and heard the noise as well. There have also been strange sightings out here as well. There is a lot of oil and gas work going on around here.
Then maybe the sound was just heard to human ears and couldn’t be picked up by the camera, so they just added the Kiev sound into the video instead, you can definitely hear children almost at the end of the video like in the Kiev video.
Dude they are called ‘slashers’ haha, not loggers. They clean up cut lines for seismic work so that companies know where to drill. These guys only work a few kilometers from me
Did you hear this Conklin sound? Thanks for the correction.
At one small point I could hear children.
You actually thought he was being serious when he said he brought his laptop? Wow…sarcasm doesn’t get much more obvious than that online.
Then perhaps he should clarify that statement.
And why would you not think he was being serious when he said he brought his laptop? There is
a lot of oilfield activity in that area. Many supervisors and consultants have there computers
mounted in there trucks in order to do there work. Why do people bother waisting there time on commenting on things of which they know nothing about. Earthquakes are a stretch when
explaining the use of seismic. Yes, they are explosions. Seismic works on the same priniple as
sonar. The equipment on surface is waiting for the reflections of the noise bouncing off various
rock, fluid etc below ground. With millions of acres of land having had this done, I can assure you
this activity has nothing to do with the sound.
I think what he means by “I brought my laptop out” is that he recorded with his laptop camera! Probably had the Kiev video playing on the laptop at the same time, because you can hear children laughing/playing at one point…
the sound is real i heard it in edmonton, ab on jan 19, 2012. nothing i have found( not that im a researcher or anything like that) could of made this sound it was to loud for a recording. it came from every where not just the direction of power lines and there where no con or chemtrails in the sky that i could see mabye behind the clouds who knows. really i still cant find a probable explanation but i can tell you one thing it is real.
I am working in Conklin as well in the same industry as these Slashers and that same day the video was made and days after F16 fighter jets were scrambling all around the area-makes me wonder if it was some kind of a sonic anomily that the military picked up and investigated???also it is rare to see fighter jets in this area even though there is an Air base several hundred kms away. Many other oil patch workers up here have claimed they heard the same creepy noise-I have been in the seismic business a long time and this sound is definitely not assosiated with our work.
real uneasy bout this one…but all in all; what can we really do about it? There is no reason to discount that this was real. I just wish more people could not be so close minded about these. It is either government or extraterisstial. There is mounting evidence every day that we are not alone folks!
