Welcome to Strange Sounds in the Sky.

Every other day, somewhere in the world, someone records disturbing unexplained noises coming from the sky.

My interest in this phenomenon started when I accidentally came across this Youtube video:

With some research on the subject, I discovered very quickly that many other people around the world had also recorded strange sky sounds recently and that some were similar and some were not.

I’m fascinated and disturbed by these strange sky noises happening in our world today. The purpose of this blog is to serve as a journal for the events in order to identify patterns and commonalities.

These sound events have increased recently. Some are obviously hoaxes and I promise to try and weed those out. I will never present the videos as fact and will critique them based on the YT description and what is presented in the video. I may speculate as to the cause but in the end I will let you decide.

I will add posts every day as long as I can find them. If you find videos or have thoughts on this, please let me know or you can post here.

I’ve got some more fuel for your fire. well anyways the story goes…I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba(which is in canada) and I woke was sleeping over at my friends house this one night. I woke up some time around 4ish in the morning because of some sound and I went back to bed. in the morning when I woke up I got some texts from my friends asking if I had heard the noise. Some had thought it was a train, or some shit like that. so uhm heres a link. I believe it was on January 14th at like 4:30. A guy I know uploaded the video.

      • Hi Jay Man! I came upon your site when I was trying to find answers to something I experienced the other night – and you had already posted a video about it. I’m living in the downtown core of Edmonton, Alberta Canada and on March 12th, with my windows closed that humming noise literally woke me up around 4:50am and lasted past 6:00am. It was like nothing I’ve every heard before. So loud – and coming from the sky. What I didn’t hear was any fluctuation in volume or pitch. It was an unbelievably beautiful perfectly pitched key. If I wasn’t so scared I would have thought it was simply beautiful. Still nothing in the media here about it. And I’m still unsettled!! :s

I went back to youtube yesterday and pulled together a playlist of strange sounds etc….but the one I had found by the Free Association Radio was not there any longer so after some hunting I finally found the notes from it……There are two names of people you might be interested in. Charles Hapgood and James G. Bowles. Both of course have been scrutinized but their ideas are pretty interesting to me….thought I’d pass them along and if nothing else they both present some ideas and terminology for some of what is going on……i.e, Grand Galactic Alignment, Superwave Theory, etc…..Once again, thanks for what you are doing here!! I know this stuff scares a lot of folks but hopefully what comes to light about most of it will end up being just logical and not spooky…..from my own experience with some of the sounds though I have to admit, goose bump city! Especially the ones that are so similar to the shofar…..Peace! ~Shell

      • I just went over most of these and Neil’s explaination seems very likely, and plausable. I have but one question – how do the electromagnetic particles make the audible noises we hear? While it’s obvoius that on the “real” videos, there is certainly sound, how is it being made ?

      • Okay, electromagnatic particles from the solar wind. So that begs the question, WHY haven’t these sounds been heard during all the innumerable past occasions of intense soalr activity??? After all, the sun DOES throw these electromagnetic tantrums every 11 years, right? i believe we call it the Solar Cycle. As for the Geodynamic explanation, i’m not sure i buy that one either, frightening as it is to think the Earth’s core is slowing its spin

    I have not personally heard these sounds. I only was made aware of them the other day via facebook by ex-Ghost Hunter Brian Harnois, who posted the Costa Rica video on his fb page. I flippantly noted that Jurassic Park was near Costa Rica. – Then I went to youtube and played a whole bunch of videos.

    Like you, I am both fascinated and disturbed by these sounds. I think we can dismiss the youtubes where tags are of the Revelation Trumpet sort. I think those are hoaxes. (especially the Kiev one) – one commenter said it sounded like rusty gates opening – the gates of hell? lol.

    I am a budding paranormal investigator, and altho I have to admit to being somewhat disturbed (what if the gates of hell ARE opening?) – I want to know what the heck is going on. – my hubby says its the guys up in the international space station fooling around and transmitting sounds to freak us out. But then he said they are probably “atmospheric things.” Well I want to know WHAT things! Are we looking at real life Godzillas or Rodans here? lol. most likely it’s all some natural phenomena signaling an impending earthquake or other siesmic activity.

  5. I really think you should cover all the Mechanical noises coming from they sky, the past week or so there has been eriee noises heard all over the world as if Gears are turning in the earths core. Some examples:

  6. Hi, Just wanted to let you know that Dawson Creek is not in Alberta, it is In British Columbia, an hour west of Beaverlodge, AB. with the province border in-between. Dunno if you can edit past posts or not or how accurate you like to be. Beaverlodge is my home town and my grandparents live in Dawson Creek, so it was crazy to see those two videos together.

    Also there is an old Air Force radar station just outside Beaverlodge on Saskatoon Hill (or mountain), where my grandfather used to work. It would be interesting to know the locations of similar radar station to the sounds locations. I will say though, when I lived in Beaverlodge I never heard the strange sounds.

      • Jay Man, my buddy and i have been interested in these noises, didnt know what to make of them just sparked an interest. as both of us said though we will believe it when we hear it. well, i am from niagara falls ontario, it is Sunday January 25th at 2:54am. And the hum has just started to quiet down. I tried to record the noise but the batteries for my digital camera were dead and my laptops microphone picks up for feedback then anything. i have no reason to put this post up to lie to the people, i didn’t believe it, and maybe i dont still, who know what this hum could be. but i live in chippewa a small town beside the falls, so it cant be city noise, and yes there is a factory 2 blocks away, but it is running at half capacity atm and has no nights or weekend shifts.

        Around 2:15am i was awoken from bed to a loud pulsing hum. got out of bed and walked around the house, it seems as a steady noise throughout the house. it was not until i went into my awning off the house then i realized how clear the noise was, and that it was definitely coming from outside. I Txted my buddy to let him know, at 2:35am or so, i said screw it im not crazy and i called my friend woke him up and made him listen to the noise. He just kept saying u better not be F**cking with me man. The noise has just 100% gone as i finish this message at 2:59am. Since i could not capture video i want a post so in case anything from this area shows up tomorrow that im proof that i heard it as well.

    I heard exactly same thing here in Oviedo Florida back a year and half or so. I thought a huge jet engine was being tested, but it would have been in wrong direction. It was sort of like a hot air balloon burner, but much louder and at 10:30 at night, unlikely a balloon flight. There was a similar report in the Florida Panhandle during some wet weather, the people thought it was a tornado (my first thought as well) and called 911 and NOAA weather. NOAA issued a statement, in I believe around March this year that the Panhandle report was due to a ducting phenomenon, like tropospheric ducting.

    I found a very recent video, recorded in Ohio. It’s about some strange lights in the sky at night. I know it is not about sounds at all, but if you listen it carefully, at 0:43 you can hear a sound that looks like these sounds you’re posting here. Here is the link:

  12. Hello I just found Out about the Whole Sky Sounds thing today While I was at work. My coworker had come across it from our Radios website. W Watched the Conklin video first witch didn’t really freek me out because I’m Canadian and was like “what are they doing in the forest with axes but no actual forestry gear or surrveying gear or anything like that, they look like a bunch of guys standing around trying to look like they’re doing something”.

    Anywas after that we watched this video, which has the same trumpety sound but to me seems legit. I also checked out the other video’s the user had posted and they didn’t have anything to do with strange things going on so for me I gave it a nother could be real point. So I figured I would share it with you as you have been most informative about this whole thing and you managed to point out exactly what bothered me about the conklin video.

    • LOL…not sure why people think this and if it’s true where is my money. I started this in September because I thought it was cool. This weird sound stuff started last year but people forgot about it. I just quietly followed it because it was something to do and a chance to write about an interesting subject. I got 100 hits a day before last Friday. Scout’s honor.

  14. I’m so fascinated by this for so many different reasons. I just spent most of my workday reading through your posts (I belong to a discussion group forum board who brought this up today after a few of us have had our own personal weird experiences lately… We were each sharing the videos we’ve heard about on the radio or in small town papers [no mainstream news picking this up which could mean one of two things...] and I stumbled on your blog. Nearly every video we shared and discussed is in here, and I loved reading your comments and ideas!) and am more curious than ever!

I’m reading the recently released “Exegesis of Philip K Dick” (it’s hard to limit to descriptio­n, I suggest checking out its Amazon page for a general idea of what it’s about), and came across something interestin­g. Now, while these “sounds” might turn out to be one giant hoax, it seems like there are more than enough disparate reports that at least some of these might be legitimate (see Just Little Me below). What “it” might be, I have no clue. But get a load of this:

    “Man as a species now ascends to a totally new level of intelligen­ce, such as I experience­d in 2-3-74. This will permit an articulation by the ecosphere that we will hear. This has never been the case before. I am saying that we will hear the voice of the ecosphere and we will enter into dialogue with it; Dio! “The voice of the ecosphere”­! “We will hear it.” This is Pierre Teilhard’s noosphere. This is not a disembodie­d voice or mind but speaks for all creatures.
    …
    Were it to signal us we would most likely experience – or rather seem to experience – the sort of uncanny “one-way” informatio­n intrusions such as occur in Ubik.     There’s some more, and earlier he describes it as “the ecosphere cries out in pain” (basically, because we’re toxifying the shit out of it). Again, this isn’t the entire gist of PKD’s “Exegesis” (it really is broad in scope, but focuses on investigat­ing his “2-3-74″ experience­), but I was just struck with coming across this descriptio­n (only yesterday) coupled with the timing of the “Strange Sounds” videos. While it may be a bit of a leap, I found it interestin­g nevertheless.

    Another interesting book to look into (which touches on Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s noosphere concept and what he dubbed “Omega Point”) is Terence and Dennis McKenna’s “The Invisible Landscape”. Or, I guess, Teilhard’s own book on the matter, “The Phenomenon of Man” (personally haven’t read this one yet).

  17. My thoery is that governments arround the world have employed the new “cloaking devise” which enables their military hardware to remain unseen. I beleive that they are using this new technology on their top secret aircraft and are conducting trials to see just how well its working in order to work out any bugs! The strange noises differ due to the different models of aircraft or methods that they use to acheive flight.

    Last November I was deer hunting on a mountain on Prince of Wales island in southeast Alaska.
    I can’t remember the exact date but it was toward the end of November. I was up on a ridge when I heard the Noise. It sounded like a 10,000 gallon steel drum being drug over rocks. Very loud,screeching noise followed by sharp striking noises like someone hitting a tree truck with a large stick repeatedly and very fast.The sound was coming up from the valley below me. I had my dog with me which I usually do when hunting because I hunt alone most of the time and she appeared upset with the noises. I became uneasy with the noises and decided to get off the mountain. I was about half way down the mountain when I heard the noise again this time it was above me. Don’t know what it was and had all kind of thoughts running through my mind. It wasn’t until I listened to some other recording on U tube that I recognized that exact same noise.

  21. Made a recording this morning at 345 AM Oshawa ON Canada. Woke me up in fact. It is very similar to the one entitled Sweden 1-11-11. Sound was coming from the southwest and lasted about 90 minutes. The sound was like a jet, but came in wave patterns, like the waves in the ocean.

    I am brazilian, I am 35 years old, and I live in the city of Sao José dos Campos, state of Sao Paulo. When I first met videos about it in YouTube, I was skeptical, but I decided to give this site a try. Since I found something here in accordance to my experience, I decided to share with you.

    Look, I have no reason to lie to you, neither no need to be believed. It just felt right that I registered my experience here. I believe A LOT of these sounds can be fakes (humans are not trustworthy, we know that), so the only related experience I can assure to be 100% true is mine.

    I heard some of these sounds. There’s been about 3 years (yes, these sounds are not something from “now”). The sound I heard was EXACTLY THE SAME recorded on the “Magnetic Pole Shift?: Sky Roars in Spain, Chile and Columbia” post. It sounds like a huge motor or something like that turned on. It is not an excruciatingly high sound, but it is present, clear and comes from everywhere, in a way you can’t say exactly where it is coming from. The sound “plays” for several minutes straight, then stops. When I heard the sounds, they “played” several times, during long “sessions”, then some time later they “played” again. It happened not once, twice, but for DAYS (I could say the sounds happened for maybe two or three weeks, but in that time I just didn’t registered it exactly). I am 100% sure of what I’m saying because I clearly remembered talking to my mother about the sound (even DURING the sound). I asked her if she knew what was that or if she heard anything about them. In that time, we just thought it could be some sort of “turbine testing” being done at the nearby airport (our city has an airport and is the place where Embraer is, the main aircraft building company in my country; we also have an Aeronautics military base here and the “national institute of space research” – “INPE”, in Portuguese). So I just assumed the sound could be something like a turbine or a wind tunnel (the research center I mentioned has a wind tunnel, but it always work for airplane testing and I’ve never heard the sound of it – specially because I don’t live exactly near them and it has proper sound isolation).

    Well, I was watching all the “sound videos” here and I was just amusing myself with them. When I heard the spanish one (the one I mentioned above), the familiarity of the sound ringed a bell inside my head and… well, I got jumpy here and decided I had to tell you my own experience.

    I do not endorse the spanish video, though. The ONLY experience I can assure you was my own. I just used that video as a reference so you can see that, despite of all the hoaxes, YES, THERE IS something “different” happening… and it is NOT a “nowadays thing”. It just came to our knowledge now because of this internet broadcasting.

  23. I sure wish I would have known about this site a week ago so I could have taped it! I was outside At around 7am on Friday Jan 13 when I saw a green shooting star. I thought the color was weird but that was about it and went back inside. About 20 minutes later I heard what sounded like fighter jets right above me but when I went back outside I couldn’t see anything. The sky was clouded over as we were getting a major cold front with a lot arctic air but it sounded like they were hovering right above me for a half an hour or more and it was incredibly loud. It was the strangest thing I ever heard. It sounds like it was a sky roar. If I hear it again I’ll be taping it for sure.

  24. It would be very helpful if one would track not just place and date but time (GMT). You could then see if these events correlate with anything, such as CMEs or other events.

I was just told about all of this today by my sister, i’m in san diego (usa) right now, but i’m from mexico, my sister told that she and my mother have been hearing those roaring sounds recently, my sister even described it to me as if a dragon was hissing from above the clouds (incidentally it’s been very cloudly for the past couple of weeks, and yes, we play a lot of videogames too). I personally haven’t heard it, but as soon as i get home will wait outside for a while and see if i can hear it.

    The thing is, that my sister told me too, that my mother was watching the news on tv, and that they talked about this phenomena, and they said that the sun was emitting a lot of radiation as of lately, so the noises are the sound of some sun flares that are being picked up by us on earth as “roaring sounds” (for those of you who know about mexican tv, it was Adela Micha who said that).

    I really don’t know if this is true or not, i just came here (btw, excellent blog!) to see if i can get some information about it, do you guys know anything about this being solar flares?

    PS, I know it is silly but i just can’t get the movie “knowing” out of my head…

    • Thanks Haydz. I am little disturbed about this. That article seems to be appearing in many legitimate online news sources in Australia. This blog was my little exploration of sky phenomena videos and it’s turning into a monster.

    • Web Ferret, got goosebumps listening to this video, have been following these stories for some time now and although a lot of them are tampered with and bogus this one really seems legit…..when animals get scared I think we need to really pay attention! They sense things that humans can’t…..And to Jay Man, great blog! I have a few video’s from my research that I saved, will pass along if you’d like and if you don’t already have them lol, which I think you probably do…..One other thing, in response to those who feel this sort of research is dangerous and scary…..I understand that not everyone is going to embrace or comprehend oddities that occur in the world. To date no one has really offered any concrete explanations or theories that hold water but for those of us who are interested I believe we ought to continue sharing and looking and listening! Clearly something is going on and paying attention seems to be the least we can do!

  30. This happened on Jan.23 2012 in Oshawa Ont between 3:30am – 5:00am. Practically our whole street was up and outside it was so loud. No one said a word. It was easily the most insane thing many of us had ever experienced. I have no doubt there are and will continue to be many fakes but there IS something odd going on and I don’t think it can be good.

I woke around 6 am on 12/28/11 (in Seattle) to what i first thought were fighter jets coming closer but then instead of lessening as the sound would have if jets passed by, the sound stayed constant. Then i heard a sort of synthetic sounding humming that would slightly change pitch every couple seconds, although not with a predictable rhythm or pattern. I also hear periodic loud metallic grinding/scraping/dragging noises- almost like huge work machines doing construction, but there was no construction going on near by at this time. I could not figure out what these sounds were- nothing i could think of fit what i was hearing. I laid in bed for probably 20 minutes before falling back to sleep and when i woke an hour later the sounds were gone. I wrote about it in my journal at 6 am when i heard it. I forgot all about this until last week when i accidentally stumbled upon a website about strange sounds coming from the sky, and even then i still didn’t recall my experience until i played one of the video clips and immediately i remembered that i had heard something similar.

  34. Found you by doing my own homework on the weird sounds we’ve been hearing in Central Maine, US. Last night it was loud enough to be able to hear it over the TV. It would go for a few minutes, then stop and then start up again. Each time lasting about 5 mins. or so.

I heard some sounds about a week ago in the Niagara region of Ontario…..thought they were odd but didn’t think anything of it…..im close to a canal so I thought it may be boats…….come to find out they drained the canal at the beginning of December…..im a total skeptic about everything…….but this one……this one feels different

    Happened about an hour ago, went for about an hour… recorded 3 videos total. Saw an aircraft at the end on the last video flying real low. Seattle area.

  44. I’m in Detroit, Mi and I’ve been hearing them since about 3 am….starting to freak me out lol. I doubted and dismissed these just a week ago as hoax…….. Now I’m VERY curious! Has anyone seen anything on any news outlets about this? EXTRA CREEPY!!!!

  45. Hi, sorry for my bad English, I’m from Poland. I’ve heard this sound 24.01, 1:00 AM for ~30 min. Me and several other people heard it and they confirmed on the local forum. There is not many of them as the time was late and it was snow storm then. What might be interesting: the sound affects dogs (they started barging) and as a one person tells, it affect his fishes in aquarium, they were disturbed. The sound source was north-east. I don’t have video, but there are several videos from Poland, one from the same day in other city.

  46. Strange as it may seem, waterhorn, fake or whatever …. I have a hard time believing some of this isnt real, do to the I witness accounts on this blog. I gathered interest of thie from Rense.com which has several videos as well as listen to alot on youtube.

    The one thing i woudl like to say sticks out in my mind other than this being very eerie is the listening to it, it sounds strange but yet familar……the thing that sticks out in my mind the most is the ifrequency of the incidents begining with the start of the year. Hoaxes?? Could be. But the thing that keeps coming back to me are the Mayans (year of enlightment of knowledge) and the fact that we are traveling though space I.E approaching the galactic center. Im not saying I have heard this sound before but yet it still seems familar. Cant quite put my finger on it.

  47. I just wanted to share a video that was not in your blog. The video was not filmed by me but i heard the exact same thing. It occured in 25.01.2012 and lasted about 10-15 minutes and the quited down suddenly. I came out to the balcony to find out what was making the sound, but i came from everywhere. Then i went back to my room and after couple of minutes it just stopped.
    The video is from Latvia, Riga, and it was heard in particular region of the city, people in comments say that have not heard it from other parts of the city. Sad i didn’t recorded it by myself.

  48. I’m in a suburb of Chicago, IL, and I heard this noise around 2:45-2:50 AM on the night of Jan. 23rd. I live near O’Hare Airport, and I’m use to all sorts of weird sounds, but I’ve never heard anything like that before in my life. At first I thought it was a plane but that didn’t seem to make sense. Then I thought that it was a train in the distance that was braking, but I noticed that it kept changing tones as if it were music from a horror movie or something. Then I thought that someone was outside with like a radio or something but there was no one. I thought that maybe my neighbor was blasting his TV but that didn’t make sense either.

    I do know that I swear it sounded as if it were recorded, and as if someone had massive speakers that they were playing because the synthesizer type sound was occasionally followed by a small rumbling noise. It must have lasted about 10 min and then it stopped and came back for about another 10 min.

    I knew nothing about these videos until the morning after the 23rd. I did a google search and that’s when I came up with these videos and these sites. I went over the possibility that I was dreaming but that noise in the videos that are posted is just about identical to the noise I heard.

    I know that some videos are fake. I KNOW that, but I also know what I heard. I am not a super religious person, or someone who thinks the world is coming to an end in 2012, or an alien fanatic. I am completely open to there being a reasonable, scientific explanation for these noises. I do know that the noises exist, and no one is going to make me forget what I heard. That being said, I have not heard the noises since Jan. 23rd at about 2:45 AM. Don’t know what it means, if it means anything, but I do know that the sounds were in and around Chicago at about 2:45 AM on Jan. 23rd this month.

      I just read your post and it sounds totally like what my wife and I heard On Jan 31st, 2012! Even your description about it sounding like it was recorded and being played on massive speakers. I used to be in a band when I was a teenager and tormented my sister by blasting syn music out the windows with huge speakers and it totally reminded me of that! (Only this was less focused and kind of filled the air with sound.) Also the train like sound of braking or switching tracks… totally what we heard! It went on for over an hour and it was really creepy sounding- just like you said- like a movie soundtrack. Like you said too, it was like no sound you’ve ever heard before outside in nature! What’s REALLY weird is you’re in the general area of where the quake happened in McHenry and heard the sound a couple days before… and you heard a rumbling noise afterward. We heard the sound the NIGHT OF the quake. We didn’t hear the rumbling though… only the very strange sounds in the air. I pretty much did what you did and laid in bed trying to figure out what was causing the sound and ruling out various things that it might be. I wish I had spent more time recording it instead of contemplating it, but it was around 4 in the morning and I kind of wanted to just go to sleep. Even though I really couldn’t sleep because it went on so long and it was so perplexing. I did go out on our hotel balcony and record some of it though, and I think I got a really good sample of it. My wife and I set up a quick YouTube account so we could post it and hopefully get some feedback on whether others heard it too. Please take a listen to this and let me know if it’s like what you heard:

(We were in Door County, WI when we heard them on vacation. That’s about 260 miles from Chicago where you heard your sounds- that’s really strange!)

Also, I know that there are a lot of losers out there in the world with nothing to do but prank people, but if so many people with busy lives around the world got together to secretly internet prank everybody else then wouldn’t their be some information leaked by now. A forum? A website? A chat log? That’s why I don’t buy that it’s some advertisement for a movie. Information would be leaked by now. I’m sorry, but you just can’t keep anything on the internet a secret for that long nowadays.

    I have no video or sound to bring show, but I know what I experienced. I didn’t experience a video- I experienced a sound out my window. If that was an advertisement that was meant to spook people then can you imagine how much money would have to be involved to have something blasted in the middle of a major city area in the middle of the night. Can you imagine the money? The paperwork? The city ordinances? The police having to deal with genuinely scared people? And what movie producer would go through all of that that and city by city all over the world? They WOULDN’T because it’s too big of a financial risk. All that money spent on advertising would never sell more tickets to Cloverfield 2 or Godzilla. Millions and millions of dollars. If the average budget for a movie without such a massive marketing campaign is already 80 million dollars then imagine how much money they would be throwing down the drain on a largely unsuccessful marketing campaign- I mean it hasn’t even made the major news in America! All that money that could be spent on air time for trailers and radio and banners for sites they would just blow on a bogus campaign? Also, don’t you think that if movie producers were behind this all then they would MAKE SURE that it makes the American news. Don’t you think that they would pay people to call in and report these sounds, or better yet, just call in a report for free by themselves? I’m sorry, but if you think this is a movie campaign then you know nothing about movie budgeting or how producers (or anyone with money for that matter) take financial risks.

    By the way, is Cloverfield 2 or Godzilla 2012 even in production yet let alone post-production? They have such a huge campaign for two films that aren’t even shot yet? 99.9% sure that this is not a marketing campaign for a film as it would be the most unprecedented thing ever in film history.

  51. Hey, I didn’t find anywhere else to share this so I’m writing here.

    I discovered the strange sounds phenomenon on 27 January, after randomly browsing some blog. I did a massive search on YouTube because things like this really creep me out. I’m not at all religious, I don’t believe in conspiracy theories, I come from a scientific family of doctors and engineers and I dismiss anything supernatural and am highly suspicious of any “phenomena” like this. But this time it’s different. I found out that many of these vids, as you have noted on the website, are really fake. But see, some others are not. I asked a friend of mine if she wants to see something creepy, and sent her the Conklin video. To my utter amazement, she said that it has been heard in her area too, central European Russia. I decided to start a thread on a random forum I’ve been visiting for five years now. Several people, serious participants in the forum, also shared such experiences.

    I have several theories of my own (which do not include anything Biblical), but there is something that concerns me even more. As I mentioned, several users on the forum I posted at said that besides the noise, they had seen strange lights in the sky. One of them mentioned a bright orange column in the sky. And the reason I decided to post this is because, again randomly, I noticed a video on YouTube showing one of these “orange columns” – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1YVzLzTlVE&feature=related. It looks exactly like what one of the people described, though he said he observed it in the States and this is from Canada. Also, take a look at the comments. It’s not one or two people who have seen this.

    There is also one more video I want to share. This is from Belgium: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt469w7A03g. Notice how he closes the window on 0:44 and the level of the noise changes but the ambient sound remains the same. I’ve done lots of editing on Pinnacle VideoSpin and other video editing programs, and I can tell you that this sort of sound mixing is very complicated to make.

    I was, and still am very skeptical towards all this, but as a scientific person I really can’t deny the obvious facts. People all over the world are observing something weird happening in the skies. It might be a regular natural phenomenon pointing out to some cyclical changes happening in Earth’s geology (the most plausible explanation IMHO), but it might be something else. I’m not implying anything. But seriously, think about it – what would I win in writing and lying about all this ? I’m simply concerned, and I want explanations. And that is the reason why people everywhere are active in searching for explanations. Your site is a good point to start in distinguishing the fakes from the real ones, because there is definitely something going on.

    Not sure if this is the right page to post this, but figured you and your readers might find the following of some interest. For the record, I do not usually post observations like this, but what happened yesterday is quite way up there in the list of bizarre things I have seen / heard in my life ( well, so far anyway ). Trust it will be another useful piece to help figure out the puzzle. And thanks for running this forum – it’s aeons ahead of the chaff that’s out there.

    A weird storm ( strange wind movements, erratic rain dispersals, very low surreal cloud swirling ) came through South Canberra, Australia, late yesterday (Sunday, 29 January 2012) evening, and whipped up much rain and wind from around 12am AEST until about 4am AEST, Monday, 30 January 2012.

    At approximately 2.30am AEST, a bizarre deep rumbling and straining noise could be heard in a low bass-like boom pounding from the south-east, behind Red Hill and Garran. It was loud enough to be heard over the torrent of rain pouring down. I shrugged it off at first, thinking that it was either just very unusual thunder echoing over the valley or rain water gushing through the old gutters and drain pipes.

    But around 3am AEST, the groaning sound became so constant and loud that I was forced to jump out of bed to see what the hell was going on. I stepped out into the courtyard of my apartment block, and noticed a few people were up as well, straining from their balconies and pointing in the general direction of where the sound seemed to be coming from (roughly south-east from Queanbeyan, just across the border in New South Wales).

    It’s difficult to give a precise description of what it was like, but imagine the magnified combination of gigantic old rusty machines being forced to start, massive warships in a big harbour all straining at their chains in a typhoon, and a dozen steam train engines roaring together in the distance; all simultaneously amplified over the rain that was still storming down; and you kinda get the idea. Odd thing was that the sounds were distinctly emanating from beyond the north-east to south-east horizon, but seemed to roll around in a syncopated pattern. One moment you would hear this deep angry disturbing mournful groan in front of you, then suddenly the rumbling seemed to rush from behind, then two different booming moans would bounce off to your left and right. It wasn’t scary as in supernatural creepy, but just plain confounding with lots of ‘WTF’ moments? I guess another way of describing it, would be like hearing a massive planet rolling around on its axis against some counter-energy pushing it back from all directions.

    Sky looked down right weird too; the clouds were dark mustard yellow in the night sky, all twisted and gnarled, with flashing white and reddish streaks coursing through them, but no thunder. It hit a peak at around about 3.15-3.30am AEST; with the booming coming in roughly 8 second blocks; then the sound suddenly shifted to the north-east at 3.30-3.40am AEST and just went silent, like someone flicking the switch off. Rain drizzled on until about 5am.

    It annoyed the heck of out me as I couldn’t sleep until dawn trying to figure out what the blazes it was. Checked around today to see if there were any news reports, but nothing. Will be staying up late tonight to see if there is a repeat, and will try to record it on camera if so. Am still kicking myself for not doing it yesterday.

    It’s 11.25pm AEST. Monday, 30 January 2012, at the moment; had a light evening shower drift over earlier and the stars are out now. But the clouds are looking odd again: this time they seem to be in long parallel streaks. Light cool winds, temperature currently hovering around 22C, but some tense atmosphere in the air. Well, let’s see if the sound returns.

    One final observation: there’s usually a whole gaggle of magpies and other bird-life busily and noisily flying around this area. Saw and heard pretty much none today, although it was a relatively clear and warm day. And a few friends mentioned that their pets were acting pretty rattled this morning.

I have a story I’d like to share, and as some of the above posters, I’d like to honestly say I am not a weirdo, I don’t believe in 2012 conspiracy theories, etc. I’m generally pretty normal, no offense to anyone, I just don’t typically get worked up and this is an experience I will never forget. A friend directed me to this sight after I told her about the most bizarre night I have ever had.

    It was Saturday evening, Jan 28, about 10 pm. At first I attributed this to some homemade tiramasu I had right before bedtime (had some espresso and bailey liqueur in it) but after really thinking about this and reading through this site, listening to the videos, I was pretty freaked out. It’s not like these other posts, so I’ll get telling my story.

    I struggled to get to bed, tossing and turning, watching a few movies but couldn’t sleep. I shut my laptop screen to get rid of the light and just kind of stared out my window. All of a sudden I started to dream. But I really was not asleep, it was strange. Now I know this could be sleep paralysis, I have heard of this thing happening but I have never experienced it before. I was just frozen and I think all of what I’ll explain happened in a very short window of time. So I might have been dreaming, but I am a vivid dreamer and very aware, and this was not like that.

    I felt aware and thought I was just lying there thinking, daydreaming, letting my mind do it’s usual thing. I think about work, and often dream about it a lot so this wasn’t usual. For some reason I had a vision of a clipping of newspaper and it was an article about a ufo sighting about my work building (one of the tallest buildings downtown in our small city here in atlantic canada, I don’t want to name the city ok, I hate online identity identifiers) and for some reason it made me think (or dream, I don’t know like I said) that oh my goodness, we are being controlled at work by ufo’s. Now trust me that sounds weird to me too, I didn’t intentionally think it, it just came to me, so maybe this was all a dream.

    When that thought went into my head, something crazy happened. All of a a sudden there was a deafening noise. When I explained to my friend this morning, I said, you know how sometimes to bend down and come up to fast, you can feel and hear the pressure, it was like that, thudding in my head like voom voom voom over and over. I could feel it, but I could not move or wake up (if I was asleep) then I flipped the sheets off me and went into the room my husband was in, I was telling him about this and all of a sudden the noise was so loud that I couldn’t hear myself speaking. Then I was startled and woke up, I hadn’t left the bed, the covers were on. It was so real, I was incredibly scared. As I focused outside my window I say a light in the sky, this could very well have been a plane, but it was just moving like anything would in the sky. This could just be a coincidence, we see planes flying here all the time from the airport, it just added to my fear.

    I went into the room my husband was in and told him what happened. He said it was sleep paralysis. And it very well could be, but I can’t forget that sound. So I was telling my friend, and she’s really into this stuff and 2012, doomsday etc. And her face told it all, when I finished my story she told me to go to this sight. After watching the first video I was like WTF. It was the exact sound I heard.

    I don’t know what it all means, I don’t know if I experienced something like this or not, but it really scared me.

    Anywho, I just wanted to share this on here. If it ever happens again I’ll share it but I am hoping it does not and it was all a bad dream. I also hope that people don’t get too scared or anxious about all the 12/12/2012 stuff. My attitude is that if something is going to happen, let’s make the best of what we can, be happy, be kind to one another and be mindful,always. I’m not religious or anything, I just think we can all do a better job of caring for what really matters – each other. I hate the idea of anyone doing anything crazy, hurting themselves or going bonkers with this stuff. It will all be ok! Take care everyone!

  54. My wife and I were on vacation in Fish Creek, WI and on Jan 31st, 2012 at about 4 AM we heard some VERY strange sounds that filled the sky. It’s really, really quiet up there so we couldn’t figure out what it could be. I’d say it lasted for over an hour and I finally got up and went out to our balcony and recorded a sample of it with our camcorder. When we got home yesterday we saw there was also an earthquake in McHenry, ILL that took place only about 6 hours before we heard the sound and wondered if the two could be related? (McHenry is only about 260 miles from where we were staying.) We set up a YouTube account to post the sound and someone who lives about 60 miles from McHenry said they heard a sound like what we posted about 5 hours earlier in their town.

      • I think what he means is that I heard rumers about on certain states were holding a divice that can produce sound and project things at a far distance but this is a guess I personally do believe that theres something going on and if pthese strange noises are being heard even more around the world then its only going to get much worse you know?   62. A few hours ago I heard a really loud ominous sound that woke me up from my sleep. It was so loud that it kept me up but slowly faded away as I searched for the noise. I thought I was crazy until I googled it and thought maybe it was related? It was about 10am PST in the Oakland, CA area.

    • Dee, what was the sound like? I’m also in Oakland, near downtown, and twice now over the past 1-2 months I’ve heard a weird sound that lasts for like 20 minutes. It’s not like these other “strange sounds” though — it was a repetitive banging sound, possibly mechanical. Anyway, just curious if you heard something similar.

    Was reading about these noises for a while, and was also very sceptical, untill today….
    I am on vacation in Austria, Hinterglemm.
    While we were in the Ski lift it was very quiet and there were no clouds in the sky.. My friend who was whit me in de lift said that they were probably busy working on the road or something.. But then the sound started again and we both didn’t know what to say…. Nobody seemd to care ?? Believe me.. These sounds are very scary when you here them.. I have no idea what it is…..

  65. I’m open minded to the unknown, but the Florida video on youtube Jay, that sound reminds me of when I lived 40 odd miles from an international airport and would hear this exact noise. Aircraft that have been pulled out of a hangar and running high RPM engine cycles will generate a sonic resonance cone in the exhaust direction that will carry up to 50 miles. Jet engines produce up to 160 decibel which is near the 190 db maximum. The resonance cone set up by an engine ramped up is very, very impressive and from personal experience and some google earth research, I know it will carry up to 50 miles. In a flat area such as Florida, perhaps even further. I’m not trying to debunk these noises, just had a personal experience. The trumpet noises are another thing and I believe might be associated with black triangles in the sky.

Several ppl in the Oklahoma City area were awakened / disturbed by a low speed rumbling/ almost like the flame coming out of a hot air balloon type sound that seemed almost to slowly creap across town and it would stop and start up again every 3 – 5 minutes in bursts that are not typical of what you would hear if it were thunder or a high flying jet overhead hence why I concidered the hot air balloon scenario but to hear it it two different parts of the city almost simultaniously about 20-35 miles from each other was spooky. It was a cloudy covered evening and it lasted about half an hour before eventually tapering off into the distance. This was just days after one of your fellow bloggers posted about sounds over the Dallas area on the 14th. Weird to say the least as I am just discovering how vast this phenomenon has become globally in the past several weeks.

    It seems to be the place to contact you ! I live in france and i following your blog since many weeks ! Its real good one ! I discovered this after watching a friend video. I decided to post here because i see some people are realy sceptic about these strange sky sounds, but as you says even if some are fakes (hoax) i believe in many other because it cant be people fooling others. Its very instructive for ourselves.

    I also document my self about some project (that u must know) like HAARP, Bluebeam and it scary me a bit lol but im ok. The problem is the nasa says they dont use haarp to difuse sky sound (mmmm i dnt think so but no one know..)
    World will probably change soon, and im not conspirationist or shiter hater but as i know the sky sounds hear since last year is the begining and this will be continue around 2016/2017 then they ill add some holograms in the sky ect (i think u ever know about bluebeam).

    On your blog i watch videos and i learn what you says offcourse because your a real nice debriefer but i dnt realy learn coments. Im dubstep maker so i also make a lot of fxs using vst with programs and hardware so when i watch a video i make my own opinion. I was surprised i havent found this on your website, its a video about sky sound in belgium (north east of france) (i think its a fucking real) :

    You probably missed this video (more than one month) but as a music maker i am its Almost imposible to do fake like this because of window sound. You need to be pro at audio make compressed extraction audio, add effects (like echo and delay) ect…. and i talked to this guy hes a real noob at audio lol he only play video games, hes normal guy. No way its real !

    Thats what i believe in these strange sounds and phenomens.

  71. Thanks for your site. Yeah, I tend to believe in the possible existence of parallel universes, time warps, and all of that and yeah, I believe that any thing is possible. Okay, here’s my big GUESS about this phenomenon. My sense about these sounds is that the kill shots from the sun are activating the earth’s core, but the sound is caused by the waves hitting the atmosphere. This is my “logic:” if it is true what geologists say that the plates of the continents can move, and that they are held together by magnetic tension, that the magnetic energy from the sun might very well be creating these sounds and moving the plates. This movement might be disrupting the earth’s core which is releasing all of these gases that are changing the climate (and it doesn’t help that humans are dirty creatures, creating all sorts of pollution, which doesn’t help at all). The thing that is a little unnerving however is that they are originating in many different places on the planet. I am concerned, fascinated, and a little afraid of this phenomenon, but I am glad this site is here for us to at least follow it and contemplate the significance, etc. And as the government being involved…I don’t really think so. It just seems like a stretch, but like I said, anything is possible.

  75. last night me my daughter and wife heard strange noises in the sky was not like most of the strange noises ive herd on here but was kinda like a train or jet that kept stoping and going ,herd it right after me and my youngest daughter were listining to a song on utube we herd it arround 6 times my wife herd it a few times because she was coming up the stairs from the basement from doing laundry and later on when my other daughter got home from a bomb fire with her freinds house on the other side of the small village we live in she told me she and her freinds were listining to music and some one said whats that sound and to turn the music down so they could here what that noise was, my daughter said to me that it sounded like space ship hovering or landing then taking off again all of this happening a few times over and said they herd dogs from the area were barking, i do remember hearing the dogs after the noise upon recall, i was to busy trying to figure out what that noise was to worry about the dogs being spooked,i was searching the sky for a falling jet or somthing that was causing the noise but idk ive herd all kinds of jets and planes but nothing like this before, so i went to type in strange noise in niagara falls but nothing on any sites and nothing in the news not yet atleast and thats how i found this site .

    I had previously posted some sky roar vids, but I pulled them, as as they weren’t as clear as the sound was.
    I have recorded a newer one because it’s getting louder and more frequent now.
    Seems to be more regular now, around 12:00AM through to 2:00AM, give or take 20 minutes.
    They don;t seem to be lightening related as per the ‘sky roar’ arcticle referenced.
    Any new news or ideas?

    I have found a unique recording I did from earlier this month.
    It has a jet passing by at the same time as the sky roar is going on.
    It’s neat to hear the difference within the same video.
    Shows that the ‘roar’ is pretty loud, even compared to a jet.

    Our family experienced this strange noise, December 2009, around 9:30 in the evening, central IN. I was in an upstairs room and downstairs we have a french door, that has very squeaky hinges. But that night I was thinking (the door) was extremely annoying and Loud. I ran downstairs and asked my husband and grandson to stop opening/closing the door. They said “no it’s coming from outside”. My first instinct was a primal fear. We looked up into the cloudy, darkened sky and knew it was to cold for rain or thunder. But the metallic scraping continued, only amplified, much louder, descending, in rolls or waves of sound. A menacing sound, that was the worst part of it, realizing it was unearthly. Investigated for a few weeks and with the exception of a few neighbors, on my street, no one new anything. The media never reported it and finally we rationalized it was maybe experimental aircraft, as we live 30 minutes from an AF base. Eventually forgot about it, until recently, when the noises have increased and more people are aware. Now I am intrigued by finding a video that duplicates all the different sounds I heard that night. Not normal for sure and (3) years later, seems to be no definitive answers….

    yup they are real sounds like also a shofar ( rams horn ) at our place
    woke me up in the night
    I will tell you this my friend Jesus is coming back very soon
    he will send signs in the sky all around the world , people need to get ready
    for judgment is coming on the earth .
    shofars ( rams horns) are used in the jewish religion to signal warning ! they blow them to alert the people
    war is coming , look around you the news the weather the wars etc
    He said this would be the signs shown before HE returns to the Earth for His church
    ( the saved children of God )

  86. I wonder. Would it be possible for you to put up a map of some sort with the locations of where these videos (the legitimate ones, not the hoaxes) are shot?
    My girlfriend and I originally attempted to do this about a month and a half ago (when people first started noticing all this strange stuff happening) and just couldn’t keep up with all the information, plus I think our results were tainted by the hoaxes.
    Anywho, I was wondering if there was any kind of global pattern that can be found, which might help explain the origin of the noises.

  89. People believe that something is going on with these sounds, because of evidence. However, they do not believe in God’s own evidence?

    Regardless of whether or not someone believes in God, the statement (posted by the website author on one of the articles on this website) about the “tangible” proof of religion is entirely FALSE:

    “…Religion is based on faith and faith is not tangible.”

    Many Christians do not know exactly what to believe about these sounds, but they do believe the Bible and know that the End Times will happen, and are at hand. Whether or not these sounds are the end times angel trumpets, or the opening of the seals, just the chaos surrounding it (about trying to understand what these sounds are) is fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.

    • If you say so. I think feeling it in your heart is not enough and not proof. One thing about human beings is their capacity for deception to suit their own needs. We can feel many things are right in our heart such as racism and we might “feel” it is correct. Obviously it isn’t. Also I do not appreciate prosthelytizing as it has nothing to do with discussing strange sounds. I will allow this comment but I am just about sick of this sort of irrational comment regarding sounds.

  90. I heard the same sounds as were reported in January 2012 this evening when I went out for a smoke at 8:45. As soon as i stepped out, i realized it right away. I just want someone else to tell me they heard it too so I don’t think I’m nuts? It’s been so long since the last reported one that I can find, so I’m wondering how many others heard what I heard. Anyone? I live in Winnipeg.

  92. And how would you know it’s a fake? I told you I made this recording, personally, myself earlier today and without even asking a single question you call me a hoaxer? I actually posted this because I thought this blog was about the only one showing objectivity on this matter. I was obviously wrong. As I said, here and on the youtube page, feel free to use this video. That includes running it through a sound program to see if there has been several sound files used. Clearly you didn’t even bother doing that.
    If you can give me the reason why you think it’s a fake, feel free to tell me, so I can prove you wrong. Just saying “it’s fake” is downright insulting.

  93. SO, in about ten minutes of looking, I think I have an answer.
    Not a fake, just not a terrible mystery. To be fair I didn’t bother to read all of the comments above, so I apologize if I repeat. It just got all religious and political, so I decided to do my own thing.

    The lady mentioned she is on Springhill Road and that she is about 3 miles from an airport. Judging by her accent (very Paula Deen) I found Bowman Field in Louisville, KY. I also see that she is about 2 and half hours away from Wright Patterson AFB and about 35 minutes from a training range over Fort Knox. Any time a plane strays over Fort Knox air space F-16s are dispatched from Wright Pat to escort it back to regular air space. I found a few articles that talk about this. Also, in the video it was raining; more on that in a bit. While it is not terrible common for F-16s to land at civilian fields, it is common for civilian fields to be alternates in case of severe weather en route, or at base, or in the event that a pilot gets an error light.

    Now WHY is all of this important? I spent 10 years on a flight line with F-16s and they sound a LOT like the noise on the video. I am also an Air Force meteorologist and it is not uncommon for it to sound like it is coming from different directions based on the changes in air pressure that accompanies rainy weather. The air pressure acts like a bowl and reflects the sound all around. F-16 noise also changes based on the opening and closing of the engine nozzle at the rear of the engine. Any who, based on the duration of the noise and the flash, I am going out on a limb and suggesting he got a red ball engine failure light and the flash was the afterburner before the pilot killed the engine. I am even more convinced of this because the sound didn’t stop immediately, but sort of petered/echoed out. From a distance it can sound quite eerie. I lived about 3 miles from base in Italy and this was a common sight and sound.

    In summation, I believe the lady heard and F-16 grounded at Bowman field and the sound was distorted by weather.

  94. Our weather has been in the teens at night and during the day. I have heard sounds from the sky that are not normal. They are not planes, yet the air seems to vibrate as if a sonic boom has happeded. The notes have changed from what we heard earlier in the year as well. They are now a higher pitch.

    • The opposite has occurred here in Michigan. It went from High Pitch to now the dull roar/hum type noise that gets loud at times. Interesting that it’s changing tone.

  95. I live in Monroe, Mi. I started recording High Pitched noises in 2011 & those have seem to have almost stopped. When I first recorded the noise I did not know about all the other noises & HAARP, but soon started getting comments to check this & that out. We haven’t heard that high pitched noise in a few months. But instead of the High Pitched noise we were hearing, now we are hearing the typical roar-hum & mechanical type noise. I’ve been recording it as much as possible and posting videos on my you tube page. You should check it out. You’re page is very helpful, I was thinking about starting a webpage, but don’t think I could dedicate enough time to make it good. Keep it up!

Both videos are pretty good, but still can’t decide if they’re fake. The second one sounds very genuine to me, especially because of the footsteps, they give a sense of space to the whole thing.   97. Hello Jay, Im near Bristol in England. Last night a 2am I heard the noise, no video or anything, but I know it was the same noise. My partner showed me some of the videos about 3 months ago and we found it weird, then this. I have ruled out all the obvious stuff, it wasn’t anything that we normally hear, that mechnical sound was clearly there. I was listening for about 20 minutes, it kept getting louder then quieter the whole time. It sounded like it was far away for most of it until the last minute when it seemed to get alot closer. Thought it was worth mentioning so you could look for post’s or video’s from around Bristol. WILL RECORD NEXT TIME!

  99. Hi Jay, heard really weird rhythmic rumbling tonight. Managed to record the last bit, though it doesn’t really do the sound justice (doesn’t help when the aeroplane flies by, but can hear it a better in the end part.) Is it just weird thunder? There was no lightning and I’ve never heard thunder like it as it was like rhythmic and continuous repeating and louder than the sound on my camera picked up. Lasted about 20-30 minutes and from the same westerly direction (whereas thunder moves and is more around), so quite a while for continuous, rhythmic thunder. Two local friends on Fb also heard it and thought it odd. Put a request out on Twitter but could only a girl 200 miles north heard a rumble at the same time. Was just such a weird sound, surprised not more heard it. I searched for rumbling sounds in the sky on google and found this site. Never heard this before. Will update if I find a rational explanation.

    I am a chemical engineer with a love of physics. I believe I know what these sounds are. They are orbiting energetic entropic particles (collapsed matter) expelled towards Earth during solar flares and CME’s. They are orbiting above and below the Earth and the massive ones trigger extreme low pressure systems in the atmosphere (hurricanes, tornadoes and snowstorms) and they can trigger sinkholes & seismic activity underground. They are travelling tens to hundreds of miles/sec (the same speed the CME’s are striking Earth or faster – they accelerate). I have readers all over the world on my blog, which is mostly scientific posts, I made an orbital model for Hurricane Sandy and it predicted her track into upstate NY. I am not a quack and I am being very sincere. I only ask that you spend one or two hours on my posts and you will understand.

      I’m not an expert and know nothing more than what is presented in my posts. My posts are not even scientific.

      In many cases I’ve attempted to debunk these videos and I’m confident in most cases I have.

      I will list the causes:

      1. high altitude airplanes
      2. venting factories and power plants
      3. soundtracks from war of the worlds
      4. overlays of clever composed sounds
      5. earthquakes shifting underground rock
      6. machinery carrying sound across shallow rock
      7. venting gas pipes
      8. meteors entering the atmosphere
      9. a few not explained that in reality would have made local news (for example in Wisconsin which was real of course)
      10. wind through structures or trees
      11. industrial sounds in perfect atmospheric conditions
      12. thunder
      13. volcanic explosions

      16. natural weather disturbances

      I’ve been unable to find any convincing videos recently and until something pops up such as the Freedom Tower videos I will not be posting. Many people think just because these sounds made the news in Canada they are real. Unfortunately they all copy their noise from a video made in Kiev.

      • Some are Fakes of Course. But what about the ones that made the news and have more than one witness. Those could be Natural or man made causes but what about the ones that went on for more than 3 days. To be Scientific you have to keep an open mind or it isn’t Scientific but then you stated that you weren’t didn’t you.

    Thanks for your honesty and integrity on the strange sounds subject. Your site is a rarity indeed, remaining sensible, balanced and objective when a wave of “strange sounds mania” struck in 2012, probably fuelled largely by “end times” predictions.
    I agree with you that much like the UFO phenomenon, most sightings (or in this case, hearings!) most incidents are explainable, with a very few that still pose a genuine mystery. Hope you continue to keep your eyes & ears open for anything worthy of reporting.

  105. I live in Tijuana Mexico, by the sea, right across the border with California. Today I swear I heard a sound exactly like the one on the video. At first I thought it was the wind but there wasn’t any. Then I woke up my family thinking it could be a tsunami. It was at about 6:00 AM and lasted like 10 minutes. I was very scared.

  107. Why don’t you make a Database spreadsheet and use it to import pushpins on a google Map. Or geomap with pushpins. Would be Helpful to see if there is a pattern in either Geography, Population, or behavior such as places with more crime!

  108. There are too many videos recording this kind of event. It’s true some are hoaxes while other a bit questioning, but over all if you watch enough of these after awhile there is no doubt that the majority are real. I think this is HARRP sending high power frequencies down into the earth searching for oil or what ever. I think the sound is coming from the ground and bouncing up against the sky which gives it that reverberating feeling and hollowness.
    All I know is that I am out raged by this. They are messing with our planet and they don’t care how this is effecting us. I came across these sounds on my own by accident. I wish I hadn’t because it has blown my world. It took me a week get over the shock of this. I have had no one I could talk to about this. The average person treats you like you are crazy and paranoid. They don’t get it and they don’t want to get it. It’s too much for them and I think that is quite understandable. It’s been too much for me. I tried to talk to my older brother about this who has all these MIT friends. He wrote back and said , Don’t you think you should be more concerned with Global warming? To me that was one of the most absurd things he could have possibly said and then he went on to bush me off and has ignored my emails ever since. He’s pretending he doesn’t understand why I am so upset. I mean its fine when you have people around you all the time who are there to help you confront something like this and work it out in your mind, but try doing this alone. It’s been no party.
    My point to sharing this about myself has a reason. Id say right now about 3/4 ‘s of the population are either in denial, too busy with surviving, or like my brother. Just how the government wants it. They are not going to take responsibility for what they are doing until someone , somewhere blows the lid off and they will probably lose their life doing it. This is not aliens doing this. This is not God speaking to us. This is our government doing top secret shit. They don’t care how this is tramatizing people. Their ends are way too big in scope to care about this trivial detail. They know the average person who video tapes this or records it is going to be grouped into a category of people who usually are known as crazy fanatics. The towns in the US who had the news reports about the booming sounds, it has come and gone and soon will be forgotten by a majority of the population.
    I think its interesting and weird that these sounds just happened to come about in the year 2012, but quite frankly I think this is just a flip happening. I predict more sounds will be recorded in 2013 and it’s going to keep happening until it increases even more in the years to follow. Then what? What are we going to do? Whose going to stop them? Has anyone considered the wide spread panic this could cause?

I live in a rural part of R.I. and in the past couple of years have heard infrequent middle of the night booms, but last night (or this morning) was the first time I ever heard what sounded like jets doing very quick passes over the house. It was very surreal. I am quite a rational person, went to bed early, but this woke me up at 3:20 (and normally nothing wakes me.) Woke the dogs as well. I went down and looked out and the sky was clear, with stars. No lights. Like I said, I live in the country, but we are in the path of the flights landing at the airport up in Warwick, so I thought it was a plane. But, there were no lights anywhere. Plus, it was 3:20, and we do not get planes in at 3 a.m. We do have Quonset base in North Kingstown, and other bases in the vicinity, but to see nothing – no lights, was really freaky. I have no idea what these sounds could have been. When I got up in the a.m. I googled and found your page, and the sounds on some of the video are eerily similar, which made me feel kind of sick. What the heck is this????
