Boom!
It’s not like I’m old but with age comes wisdom (for some of us). One thing that has become increasingly clear in my life is that “sh**t happens”. It’s a cliche phrase but it’s also a way of looking at life.
Recently I’ve been struck by how weird things are getting in terms of undeniable earth changes occurring in the world. The world changes all the time but I see an acceleration in these events.
My Youtube addiction includes subscriptions from Jenna Marbles to Shielaaliens. It also includes many channels offering news compilations covering all sorts of catastrophic world events from floods to earthquakes. The earth is changing, has always changed and will continue to change. I accept this and until recently have dismissed these stories as examples of what has always happened since the beginning.
However, I’ve recently changed my opinion. As I watch the news compilations I have begun to notice words like “rare”, “unprecedented” and “extreme”. Often interviewed witnesses and newscasters will say things like “I have never seen anything like it” or “What are the chances…”.
One person in particular I like to follow is Youtuber fidockave213. Once a month he shows us all the scary stuff going on in the world complete with scary music and Bible verses. I have always watched them partly out of morbid fascination akin to watching a train wreck. These are meant to scare you but they are the real deal. WARNING: Watch if you dare. You will be creeped out.
Russian Meteor
So what is all this commentary leading up to? Well the Russian meteor that occurred a few weeks ago got me thinking about sky booms. There have been many, many recorded fireballs over the past few years, often with sonic booms. What is unusual about the Russian meteor is the damage it caused. That’s something you don’t see with these fireballs.
I will cut to the chase. I started documenting strange sounds in 2011 and covered many types of strange sound videos. Occasionally I would find some with news clips covering “loud booms”. Apparently loud booms have been happening for some time. The only difference is that it appears to be happening a lot more lately! I see this going hand in hand with the accelerating bizarre weather events we’ve been experiencing from record temperatures, drought, unseasonal tornadoes, thousand mile hurricanes, extreme snow storms, more 8.0 earthquakes than ever and the list goes on. These things have always happened but not to this degree in recorded history. It’s the frequency and severity that one can’t help noticing.
All of the past “strange sounds”, while recorded events, are not usually supported by widespread news stories. The ones that sound like venting factories, jet roaring, metallic scraping, etc. do not bother me at all. They are probably something not so strange. But the constant reports of booming happening everywhere is something you can believe.
No One Knows
Booms are happening all over the world and people are trying hard to explain them. They say oh it’s sonic booms, earthquakes, meteors, etc. But then they can’t find any recorded sources, like military exercises or earthquakes.
They have a feeble explanation in one location and none in another. They say oh it’s mining, “see I took a picture”, then it happens again and no mining was going on. These videos below demonstrate recent booms in West Virginia, Tucson, and New York. They are just a few and there have been many more.
Notice in the video directly above at the 1:05 mark a woman who experienced the boom shows how the boom shook loose the underpinning of her trailer. This may seem like a small thing but it’s the first time I have ever heard of any damage from these booms.
I don’t know about you but I do not recall ever hearing about loud booms until the past few years. Something is definitely up. Look at this video below from someone’s security camera showing a flash of light and a boom. This is a very rare recording of reported booms. This was a meteor that didn’t cause damage but still, when have we ever experienced this?
Conspiracy Theories
i don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist but why didn’t they detect that Russian fireball. They can certainly detect anything coming near their airspace. Did they know it was coming and not warn people to avoid panic? Some people think it was shot down. The video below is questionable but you can see something hitting it and notice how the meteor explodes outward in front of itself.

Are we entering a region of space with more space rocks and they aren’t telling us. This NASA video below certainly does not inspire confidence.
I Digress
This has nothing to do with booms but it too is unsettling. I am talking about the constant reports of triangle UFOs. This actually made the news recently. Notice how the news people while still smug are no longer making fun of ufo sightings. When they start taking them even half way seriously it’s time to worry. These triangles are everywhere and have been since the forties. What has changed is the frequency of the sightings. They are big black floating things with lights on each corner. People say they are experimental aircraft. I do not think so but I won’t speculate about their appearances. They want us to see them that is for sure. They fly close to the ground and can be up to a mile wide. They make no sound and often just hang there with lights that change colors, or glow or move, etc. They can fly away at incredible speed.
Strange things for strange times.
Not Sexy but Disturbing
Another sound that continues to be recorded is the “sky roar” videos. They are just constant jet sounds coming from the sky. The reason I think these are real is they are just not very “sexy”. Just boring videos of people pointing cameras at empty sky with loud constant jet sounds surrounding them. Here is a recent one.
The most frightening one of all.
I get many comments from people who have experienced this type of “strange sound” and found this site. They seem to be a bit upset and will go through the videos remarking on which are fakes and which ones sound exactly like what they heard. My latest submitted comments are:
I live in Tijuana Mexico, by the sea, right across the border with California. Today I swear I heard a sound exactly like the one on the video. At first I thought it was the wind but there wasn’t any. Then I woke up my family thinking it could be a tsunami. It was at about 6:00 AM and lasted like 10 minutes. I was very scared.
I just heard a roar that lasted 2 or 3 minutes straight then stopped in Fort Worth on February 26th at 730 p.m. I have never heard this noise before it made me and my wife both want to go outside and see what this rumbling bass was in the distance. I don’t know what else to say other than that is a real noise that I can’t explain and don’t have video for…wow.
I believe I heard a “sky roar” last night. It grew louder, then quieter, then louder again, louder each time until it was so loud that it sounded like whatever it was was going to show up in my backyard. At this time I grew so apprehensive that I felt I couldn’t take much more and I prepared myself for what I assumed was my impending death. This pattern played out over the course of about five minutes. When it was at it’s loudest/closest, I could make out more definition in the sound and it had a tonal pulsating whirring quality almost like a ufo from an old sci-fi movie. Frankly I was terrified. Then it vanished quite suddenly. No fade out. No dopler effect. Then randomly my dog barked once. This was at 1am and he was fast asleep. This was no Helicopter. The trees were still. It was not wind. This phenomenom is very real.
I don’t know about you but I wake up every day wondering what else is going to happen. I didn’t used to do this but the writing is on the wall. The earth is changing and not for the good of it’s inhabitants.
We’ve heard the strange loud boom here quite a few times now in the last year with one happening only a few weeks ago here on the east coast Aust. We’ve had the persistent jet sounds and at the moment very odd weather. At the moment it’s flooding again where I am and were on a flood warning. I live in a small coastal town and all people talk about here is how strange the weather etc is all the time and how we are are getting a lot more earthquakes now in Aust.

Why is the media taking more interest then the previous years with just a giggle response ?

yeah, I saw that report on Ch. 4 news – WIVB-TV of Buffalo NY. (reporter Rachel Kingston).
There hasn’t been anything heard or reported in the city of Buffalo, but according to the tv report it was from Southern Erie County.
If I hear anything about this in Western New York, I’ll keep you informed.

Here’s a video compilation of recent weird things in the sky. It’s pretty long, but by the time you get to the sky filled with glowing orbs you’re just like… oh my gawd, what is going on?
This has become a lot longer than I intended, where did that soapbox come from? Some response required though:
-in Australia (where I am), this is the season for cyclones and storms in the top subtropical half, east and west coasts, this is NORMAL folks! Be alert, not alarmed. Their intensity may well be increased (as for bushfires) due to the global warming which is an ongoing fact. Same for intensity of storms off the Atlantic. There are also many environmental insults from mining, dredging, land clearing and so on which are damaging our coasts, exacerbating the effects of seasonal storms.
-global warming will also be responsible for many fish deaths around the planet, and the paths of causation may not be immediately evident as they are complex and involve many biological systems such as microorganisms, pollutants, zooplankton, local sea pH and temperatures, etc etc etc. These are real problems for us to face and DO something about, not hide under the beds waiting for apocalypse!
-there may well be a period of increased seismic activity around the ring of fire, as happens over geological time, so increased seismic and volcanic activity in this region from Iceland to Japan to New Zealand to Hawaii to Alaska all around the Pacific will be CONNECTED, not a random increase of isolated events. Make sense? Look below the surface, the layers we float on, under the crust – all connected. Seismic activity off Iceland (geologically active region) may well have released chemicals or superheated water into the sea which killed off the herrings. Is anyone investigating?
-meteors – any local astronomy club will tell you they are usually in the form of showers, that’s how they travel around the solar system. So may appear as a single fireball, or as a series of objects. These clouds of meteor fragments vary in size and spread, so some appear over a short time period, others occur over a longer period. No mystery there. One I saw in the outback was silent, from where I was looking, but extremely bright so visible from a great distance at night. Others closer by the observer may catch the sonic boom. Many are quite friable and fragment easily with the frictional forces generated as they burn through the atmosphere, hence the small “explosions”, caused by small pockets of gas within. What in the past has been known as a single comet can become a meteor shower with the same periodicity, these are not fixed objects but change over time. Is that a less exciting story? But rue.
-jets very high in the sky will not be visible from the ground, but the sound cone behind them will follow at considerable distance away and be miles across, sometimes a sonic boom (may be more than one), sometimes just a very dispersed sound from the engines with no obvious direction of origin. The sound will seem to not be connected to anything visible, and the larger the cone, the longer the sound will continue. Again, in outback Australia without other environmental noises, this is not uncommon, even distant road trains sound eerie. In such examples, there may be some non-human cause or not, but it cannot be taken as an example of some sort of paranormal activity, can’t say anything about it at all. If the sound goes on for say 20mins or more, then that might be of interest, or if it’s nothing like a jet (or road train).
There’s a lot on this site that’s of great interest, I have little doubt that there is something out there that is not human. (Hello? I’m over here!) BUT:
Idle speculation is not helpful or informative, especially if fear-based. Take care not to run off with the fairies, they’ll lead you astray, though sure they tell fascinating stories to keep you entertained! I’m sure there are major changes going on, global warming, social and political movements (whose origins lie in the environmental, feminist and other “consciousness raising” campaigns from mid-20th century), global freedom of movement, internet, even ET communication – but it doesn’t help to lose rationality and sensibility. These challenges require a reasoned response, proper investigation of events, for us to learn from these and evolve. Look at the events, study them, use discrimination and reason, but there is no need to tell scary stories to yourself about them, that is only your CHOICE. Make you uncomfortable? Then choose a different story! The facts will still be there, but they’ll be fun to explore and you’ll learn a lot more.
