  1. B2 doesnt go fast enough to cause any of that . plus no afterburners and most of the sound from the engines is directed above plane just saying . prolly some hot shot flying way to low i mean they were practicing for an air show . i would say its just a coincidence from uk to AZ .i dont think it was a helo that caused a scramble like that .could of been an enemy plane i like to think it was a ufo tho lol.

  2. Well there seems to be a lot of sonic booms going on…Just last month we had heard a loud boom which made my garage door shake bad and it felt like a tremor, it was on the news etc and at the time the military said it was not them and then a week or so later they then said it could of possibly have been caused by them..Here’s the article for it http://www.portstephensexaminer.com.au/news/local/news/general/raaf-sonic-boom-possible-cause-of-earthquake-false-alarm/2511357.aspx

  3. I live here in Tucson, I’m a pilot as well. The Thunderbirds were practicing and make a habit of staying around the airbase (east side of town) due to a civil airfield to the west. You have seen the manuvers that require high g forces to catch up to another aircraft so it’s no surprise to break the sound barrier in an F-16. Saying it was chaseing a UFO is hyping a lot I would say.

  4. What the hell was “weather girl” talking about military chaff possibly showing on the radar as those blips? (last video) Each of those blips were several miles across, which anyone could see since she had already pointed out that the larger northerly rain system was some 26 miles from shore. I’m not buying their explanations.

Jayman, I also find the occurrences of recent sonic booms to be interesting. I’m in Chicago and the last time fighter jets were allowed to scramble to supersonic speeds over our population came a few months after 9/11 when an airline passenger went berserk on a landing commercial jet. But this was at a time when EVERYONE was on edge, so it made sense to not take risks. But scrambling jets after a helicopter? Suspicious IMHO!

  5. ya know. Ive looked at this site a few times and just wanted to say, in case you werent aware, they have found these sky roar sounds in a frequency from Saturns atmosphere.
i found the similarities to be haunting. Makes me think….

  6. Does anyone watch myth busters? They did a test on sonic booms breaking glass and I’m almost positive they had to get REALLY low to break the glass.

“Adam and Jamie teamed up with the Navy’s Blue Angels to test this myth. Adam first received some subsonic flight training in an FA-18; despite passing out and vomiting at various times, he enjoyed the experience. To operate at supersonic speeds, they had to go to a restricted zone due to FAA rules. At the test site, the MythBusters built a small cabin with a glass window in addition to parking a car and leaving a table with lots of glass objects on it. When a Blue Angel jet, with Adam aboard, flew by at supersonic speed and with 8,000 feet of altitude, barely a sound was heard. At 2,000 feet, a loud boom was heard but no glass was broken. The jet continued to make lower and lower passes, ultimately making five passes at just 200 feet. The house’s window was broken from these passes, but nothing else was broken. Because of the extremely unlikely circumstance of a 200-foot supersonic jet pass, and the minimal damage observed, this myth was declared busted.”
