FROM THE COMMENTS:
It doesn’t seem like you to state your biased opinion as fact like this… to say that these noises are so obviously the result of climate change is just as preposterous as saying they are the result of Easter Bunnies in the sky. It seems strange that you would make the leap from your typical, facts-only approach to such an unfounded shotgun-statement like this… especialy when there is zero evidence to support such a claim and plenty of evidence to the contrary…
…too many more posts like this and you’ll be walkin that line between journalist and fear-monger, like so many other internet sites… are you starting to slip on us?
MY RESPONSE:
The key words I used are “believe” and “think” and “thought”. I made it clear I’m referring to “booms” and “jet roar sounds”. The Accuweather video explains how earthquakes might be caused by climate change. It’s not a leap to recognize that many of these “booms” are happening during recorded seismic activity as represented in the OK and PA videos.
It’s obvious there is something wrong with our climate and I don’t need to google it to see. If you do google it you will find there is growing debate and concern as to whether these extreme and numerous tornadoes are caused by climate change. No one agrees but I wouldn’t say it’s not possible like you imply. I simply said I thought it could be related given that the roars sound like tornadoes. As far as the other “strange sounds”, I don’t know and I have my doubts about those even as I document them.
I would hardly call myself a journalist and in fact I have no idea what I’m doing. I suppose it’s less scary to believe it’s aliens, HAARP, God, etc., than to believe it could be (gasp) climate change.
The elusive stuff lingers at the edge of our vision and never quite materializes. The paranormal stuff is scary but fun! Climate change is measurable and it WILL kick your ass.

We’ve heard lot’s about the mysterious Clintonville booms over the last month and you may or may not know that the diagnosis was a 1.5 earthquake. See here. Many people including Clintonville residents didn’t buy this explanation. Even I found it a bit hard to believe. Just because it seems hard to believe doesn’t make it false.
We also saw other towns near Clintonville being affected by the booms. The town of Baraboo even had flashes of light. See here. But small earthquake booms aren’t really unusual as I had thought. There have been several examples of small earthquakes being accompanied by booms. The most recent is from a week ago in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, see here, and from last May another example from Philadelphia occured. This tells me that indeed all the booming and odd sounds they hear are most likely caused by seismic activity.
If you follow this blog you know that we attempt to debunk or explain the incidents even with limited information. The only “strange sounds” we’ve documented that are probably real are booms and constant jet roar sounds. See definitions here to understand. I think the “sky dragons” are venting valves (see here) and the Kiev “trumpets” (see here) are fakes all around. Even the post above this one from Hamilton, Ontario while definitely “strange”, is not necessarily unexplainable.
I think the booms and the constant jet noises are probably natural but could be ominous. There have been many, many of the jet noise type sound videos recently. I don’t post a fraction of them. I believe they’re real and this phenomenon started last year in Florida.
I believe these booms and jet noises are related to climate change and a symptom of changes in our atmosphere.
In this video below from Accuwather they explain how climate change might cause earthquakes.
I have to tell you, my heart sank when I saw the extreme and unusually early tornadoes touching down in Dallas-Fort Worth last week. Tornadoes aren’t actually abnormal in Texas but there have been many other early twisters in Kentucky, Indiana and other states resulting in 39 deaths. This video below shows how this tornado threw semi-trailers around like Tonka toys.
MUCH MORE AFTER THE JUMP…
We’ve been documenting videos of the constant jet roar sounds and reports of strange booms in Dallas-Fort Worth over the past month. See here, here and here. My first thought was there could be a connection between extreme weather and constant jet roar sounds. I don’t know how they’re related but the jet sounds resemble fierce continuous winds that don’t subside, NOT UNLIKE TORNADOES. The last video we recorded from Fort Worth was quite pronounced.
The witness attributed it to military experiments but that doesn’t explain these two below.
People are also reporting extreme booming with flashes of light in other US locations. See here. Could this be the result of climate change creating exaggerated thunder?
We have had the warmest March on record in the US (see here) and things just don’t seem right lately. I’m located in the North East and we’ve had almost no cold weather compared to what we normally get. Things started blooming last month and while I appreciate the early Spring it is unsettling. We’ve had very little rain and one beautiful day after the other. No rain here is very unusual as well.
I have no idea if “strange sounds” are happening in other countries because of the language barrier and I can’t judge the sincerely of the witnesses, so I stay away from those unless they’re exceptional.
After documenting these “strange sound” videos for the past six months I believe that the Government, Illuminati, HAARP, Project Bluebeam, God, Jesus or Satan have absolutely nothing to do with the booms and jet noises. It’s our destruction of the environment that’s the culprit with the number one cause being carbon emissions. I expect we’re in for some nasty weather this year.

Living not far from an airport I dont think I will ever be lucky enough to experience a sky noise, as I always put any noise I hear down to that. Having looked on Utube, here in the UK, there have been a few noises experienced along the South coast where I am, but difficult to determine if they are anything or nothing. What I do know is that out weather has gone mad…+ 25 degrees one week (unheard of at the end of March) and then down to -5 and snow the next week. We have had no proper rain for months and already it has been classed as a drought in my area. In good old British style we moan about the weather endlessly, but people really are getting very concerned at the extremes… I think your right Jay, depressingly I think its the environment too, just wonder how long it finally going to take people to open their eyes and realise something is going on

I believe the earth is imploding. We have taken so much out of it, gravity will have its way and it does make noise when physical spaces close, movement being accelerated by climate, geological shifts, and if the pole shifts there will be more shifting of the core, mantle, and oceans. That being said, we are in the grip of the past events’ affects, we are experiencing the effects. I live in New Mexico, the elders have predicted this, we have 2 things to understand: nothing we can do now will change what is happening. Also, if we pull way back for perspective, this is meant to happen. i choose to live close to the stable earth and also choose to know that we, our choices now, are crucial or our attention would not be demanded on such a huge scale. These noises/changes/signs are all about something we already understand, ie, what we know as a way of life must change. What to do? Life will go on, but look at how it has had to adapt. We are going to have to adapt to something big changing that we have only read about in elementary schoolbooks. What if we have been chosen to live now for a reason, ie, what can we contribute? I am not a doomsday prepper. I am not an overzealous cult/religion member. I am a massage therapist who has received the call to come to this physical higher ground to be available with my gifts of healing so that any wounded in the shifts can be supported in their changes. We are called to change, pushed if we don’t take the call seriously.
If all that is said happens, each survivor will have something unique to contribute. Each of us see ourselves in true moments and know what we are capable of. Whatever the origin of the noises, I don’t care. Science, schmience, let’s take the call to higher ground and live better than we have.
Thank you! Great comment.
Hmmm.. did you mention tornadoes?

I posted a response in the article.
I didn’t imply that climate change is an impossible explanation, only that the tone of this post is drastically different from the typical for this blog. It seems difficult, if not entirely impossible, to say that you “simply present facts” and then argue that it’s okay for you to slant the discussion because you use magic words like “believe”, “think” and “thought” -simply because you “don’t know what you’re doing”. Just like starting a new job, the “i’m new” excuse only works for so long. That being said, I have no interest in arguing over beliefs, that doesn’t get anyone anywhere… perhaps I should bid SSITS farewell before climate change kicks my ass…
Ryan, I find that I agree with your approach more often than not… but I can’t say that this time. Jay keeps it as real as possible and the moment he brings up Climate Change… you’re all over him. He’s qualified previous guesses with “believe”, “think” and “thought” before and that hasn’t drawn your ire. Why is this different? I’m not going to guess as to why you’re so wound up about this particular topic… but pulling the “I’m gonna take my ball and go home” cop out the first time Jay says something you disagree with, is bad form bud.
Like I said, I’ve become accostomed to reading your thoughts on this site. I’d hate to see you bail becuause of semantics.
To paraphrase, 10 points from Gryffindor for hostility.
Just seen this… I wonder…
