  1. The folks taking the video sound pretty honest to me, for what that’s worth…. As does the sound. But who knows what it is. Without knowing the area (ie, is there major industry near by – and yes, some industries do stay open on Easter), it’s hard to judge).

Btw, interesting article (link below) about booms in the Poconos. Have you heard anything about this, Jayman?

  2. fyi this sound is not so wierd…hamilton’s nick name is steel town this is the sounds from the scrap metal yard…I know because I lived a block away from it for years….not so strange just morons not knowing their own city. and yes they are open all year round even easter.

  3. Trust me on this one. its not the steel mill its the scrap metal yard. the sound is fairly consistant with breaks in between the loud banging which is consistant with picking up the metal with a magnet and dropping it in another location. cant speak to why she has never heard it before other than its really faint in the video which might just mean she’s a fair distance from the yard and the noise just happened to carry because of the temp of the air that day who can say.

    • I believe you’re correct. I just present them as what they are and that’s strange sounds in the sky. Regardless of the source, it is an interesting video. I leave it up to you to decide and your explanation is probably correct. Notice I give no reason except saying it’s real. It is a real unfamiliar noise that is unknown to the witness and is coming from somewhere.
