  2. You have been informative, and awesome and I thank you for allllll of your time that you have spent researching this, it truly is amazing. I hear it nightly, or at least every few days, but it is never loud enough to record. Living here for the past 32 years, I KNOW it was not there before… So again, I thank you for your dedication : )

  3. Ive been researching weird stuff my whole life, it’s a lot more fun than religion. But Ive never been as truly fascinated and taken by something as when I stumbled upon the strange sounds phenomena. Thanks tons for your efforts in creating this site. Its pretty much the leading source with regards to any legitimate research into this subject.

You should try to connect with the guy who runs dailygrail.com. Its an alternative news site and something like this would fit right in, maybe trade links or something.

  4. I loved those shows too when I was growing up. But I’ve always been a non believer in UFO’s and all things paranormal. It has only been in the last few years that I have opened up to the possibilities. There are just too many witnesses of strange events to ignore. I’ve been watching the series Ancient Aliens recently, and I am so fascinated with the possibilities! It definitely makes you think. I highly recommend the series if you are interested in aliens & UFO’s.

Thank you, as always, for doing this blog and for sharing your thoughts. We always look forward to your updates!

  5. I too appreciate you sharing your thoughts, Jayman. I agree that there’s little mystery in the world these days.

I was interested in UFO phenomena many years ago. Though I don’t judge others who are interested in it, I realized eventually that we won’t likely ever know if there really are beings and spacecraft visiting us from other planets. It will always be a big question mark until, say, one of them lands on the White House lawn and the beings inside are interviewed by CNN. It definately is possible that there’s life on other planets – since there are so many of them. (That being said, I’m still fascinated by the strange formations on Mars, but that’s another subject).

But my personal opinion, which I don’t expect anyone to agree with at all, is that the UFO’s are likely part of a miltary experment that they want to keep secret. Or, they could be a part of satan’s air force. Satan has the capability to mimick anything that the human mind can conceive of. Of course this corresponds to religious belief.

Religion, if I may be so bold as to say this, is full of mystery, too. The religious tradition I now belong to has a fare share of mystery to go along with it, including supernatural phenomena such as the Shroud of Turin, the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, Portugal on Oct. 13, 1917, the cloak of St. Juan Diego, and more. But even religious folks can get caught up in focusing a bit too much on phenomena, of course. Gotta keep a balance, I suppose, IMO.

    Great website here.

  6. M. Ray, if you have not seen the series Ancient Aliens, I highly recommend it. The subject of religion is discussed at length and I found it so interesting that many religions of the world talk about ‘sky people’. Even Christianity has depictions of beings (angels) coming from the sky. I stopped participating in organized religion many years ago, but did not stop believing in God. I do not believe the bible is 100% fact, but more or less lose translations of historical events. So, I suppose I am searching for something that makes sense where God is concerned. Is it possible there is a connection between the gods and aliens? Could the gods described in so many religions really be highly intelligent beings from outer space? I don’t think it’s that far fetched of an idea. It definitely has made me think. As for satan, could he / she just be a bad or sinister alien who wishes to do harm and create chaos? I’ve haven’t gotten far enough into the series to see if that is discussed, but will be watching the 4th installment later this evening.

Again, a very interesting documentary that anyone who is interested in aliens would enjoy watching!

  7. I haven’t been around your blog lately, I’ve got this blasted cold that won’t go away. so I got some catch up to do.
I’ve also loved those shows. And having been a chld in the 50′s – I cut my sci-fi teeth on movies like The Cosmic Man, It Came From Outer Space, Forbidden Planet, Invaders from Mars, Destination Moon – you name it, I saw it. And in the 70′s I too became fascinated with the whole ancient astronauts/aliens thing. I’ve done my share of reading about UFOs, still not sure about that – in the early 80′s I learned about paranormal investigating, and only recently became one myself.

I think it all has something to do with the fact that humans WANT to learn. Carl Sagan said this in the 6th episode of his Cosmos series, Traveler’s Tales, that we all want to know, to see, to learn.

No, Jay, you’re not wierd – you are just like me, and all your other followers, we who have an insatiable need to find out “what’s out there.” But having grown up with shows like The Night Stalker and it’s unofficiall offspring, The X-Files, and the In Search Of series of the 70′s – we alos have a healty dose of skepticism. We don’t like having the wool thrown over our eyes. We want the truth, not urban legends. Just because we may enjoy movies like Ghost Busters or Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, doesn’t mean we will swallow anything that comes our way.

Keep up the good work Jay!

  8. Hi KD, I haven’t seen Ancient Aliens, but I think there was a similar series or film in the 80′s that I saw, but can’t remember the name of. I should mention my family history, in that my mom is a believer in Zecharia Sitchen’s philosophy – that humans were in fact originally aliens. I don’t believe this myself. My late father believed that he has actually been abducted by aliens, but I think it was in reality caused by too much pain medication that he took. So yeah, I’ve thought about these things, too. I’m so glad that you still believe in God. Regarding a connection between gods and aliens, I don’t believe in ‘gods’ in a plural sense, even though it’s used a few times in the OT.

There is of course the possibility that there are beings visiting earth from outer space, but even those beings could not have invented themselves. They, like us, have to be created creatures, and if they exist, then God created them too. A better way to explain this would be to provide a quote from Thomas Aquinas from his Shorter Summa written in the 13th century, regarding God, or the first mover:

“Regarding the unity of the divine essense, we must first believe that God exists. This is a truth clearly known by reason. We observe that all things that move are moved by other things, the lower by the higher. The elements are moved by heavenly bodies; and among the elements themselves, the stronger moves the weaker; and even among the heavenly bodies, the lower are set in motion by the higher. This process cannot be traced back to infinity. For everything that is moved by another is a sort of instrument of the first mover. Therefore, if a first mover is lacking, all things that move will be instruments. But if the series of movers and things moved is infinite, there can be no first mover. In such a case, these infinitely many movers and things moved will all be instruments. But even the unlearned perceive how rediculous it is to suppose that instruments are moved, unless they are set in motion by some principal agent. This would be like fancying that, when a chest or bed is being built, the saw or hatchet performs its functions without the carpenter. Accordingly, there must be a first mover that is above all the rest, and this being we call God.”

Perhaps this conversation should be taken to the forum here, but I registered for the forum but I’m unable to log on.

  9. Thank you for telling us your story. In the last few months I have been on a junkie on youtube videos, watching H2 about aliens, staring in the sky, taking pictures of the odd cloud shapes and chemtrails, listening to project camelot about the war that the military and the NWO are going to start to wipe out most of the human race, fema death camps and about the reptilians and greys aliens. Feeling comfort from the Pleiadian aliens. Scoring 98% on the Indigo websites wishing that I am on earth for a reason instead of my mundane life I live. If I new how to write my own blog I would have one too.
I like when you said most people wouldn’t know that you think of these things. Same here and I really have to tone down on facebook and when I am around certain people. Okay all people. I only know a handful of people who think and feel the same as I.
    So thank you!

  10. No need to be embarrassed! I’ve been a scientist all my life, yet have had to somehow encompass my own anomalous experiences into my world view, such as OBEs as a small child, ufo sighting, past life memories – it’s not we that are the problem, only our definitions or beliefs about what constitutes “science” or “reason”, or “reality” for that matter. I can’t be honest with colleagues and peers either! I couldn’t help my experiences, and much happened when I was too young to make any judgements about them, and I now know there are many others like me, like you, and lots more. The world is expanding and our understanding and perceptions with it, and we shouldn’t hide or be ashamed! The only ones who should are those who close their minds and judge others according to their own biases and limitations. History shows that science is always one step behind the leaders. You play a very important role here, may well be one of the most important things you ever do. Congratulations, and be proud!

My own 2 bob’s worth on the sounds: I’ve heard several accounts of people who perceive a ufo nearby, even enormous ones, and others alongside see nothing. If they are of a different vibration (and they modulate that vibration as needed) that can only be perceived by others who are able to tune in, then perhaps these sounds (the genuine ones – crap to the hoaxers) are being made by ufos that are overhead but not visible. It may be a kind of announcement that formal undeniable contact may be imminent, as some reports say. I wish people wouldn’t fear this – it’s not like the movies! It’s part of our evolution and inevitable. Fear only generates conflict, look at our geopolitical situation on this planet and learn from it. Can’t wait for it myself…

Don’t believe the HAARP stuff, that is ignorant. Reason does have it’s place, and that’s for sensible discrimination and investigation of the facts, as you do on this site. Great stuff, and thanks for your work!
