  1. Arizona MUFON, from what I’ve seen in the past, has been pretty good at following up on something like this. Hopefully they will, because it needs to be determined if Luke AFB was doing exercises (dare I say the word “flares”?) that night. The movements of the objects were not quite clear enough, imo, to eliminate flares as a possibility. Plus, there is mention of small “tails”, which could be illuminated smoke from the flares. There is also a blinking light up above the objects in question which could be a military plane or helicopter. I would say, over all, that it is an intriguing video…. But there just isn’t enough information (at this time) to draw any kind of conclusion… Much less connecting this event to the Strange Sounds (although, I agree with you that it certainly is worth keeping in mind, regardless of what the objects are).

      • I must admit, Jay Man, that I suspect they are not flares… But the possibility is there, particularly because of the closeness of Luke AFB. My limited understanding of military flares is that they are dropped from aircraft either sequentially (resulting in a diagonal line of lights) or sometimes sporadically (resulting in a random pattern). They stay illuminated for different amounts of time, as I understand it… Some can stay lit for 5 minutes or more. Here is an example of military flares… Notice the strobing light of the aircraft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTiA7yB3l0c

Again, I am not an expert on this stuff… Just an avid couch/interwebs researcher… Like you added up top, if anyone with real experience in this can chime in, please do! :)

  2. My guess is sky lanterns. Our family sets these off from our backyard once in awhile. They are quite large and the flame can be seen for miles. Once the fuel is out the lantern immediately goes out.

The formation could be attributed to launching them at different times, launched by different people, and if you launch two or more at the same time they can and will drift apart.

Even though the videographer states they are changing directions and that these ufo’s have tails, it is difficult for the viewer to actually see this.

    • RoteDiablo, the reason I dismissed lanterns as an option is because when the video starts there are only two lights, and then suddenly – between the two – a third appears. Plus, they are very bright and more white than orange (and don’t seem to flicker). I am not aware of any type of Chinese Lantern that behaves that way. Do you know any that do? If so, then it’s quite possible you might have found a likely answer.

  3. Hey guys, Jay man. Please take a look at this post:

    http://ascensionearth2012.blogspot.com/2012/02/renowned-geophysicist-says-mysterious.html

It’s an article about a strange sounds analysis from Mr. Elchin Khalilov. I quickly researched about him and he seemed to be renowned indeed. His conclusion is that those noises, as he could say for their power and range, must result from great events involving the Earth.

Even if this blog (the one on the link!) posts some clearly part-fake videos, about ufo sightings mainly, I personally like it, but I read and watch it carefully…

I hope it contributes to the discussion.

    Peace

  4. Last night I heard for the fifth time sky sounds. Lasted about 40 minutes like all the rest. Unidirectional and constant. Called a friend who lives 10 miles away and he heard them too. This morning i was awaked by a nearby (35 miles) 5.8 earthquake. 2 days earlier a 4.8 struck in the same area.

  5. These are not flares and are not lanterns. They are not UFOs either though, as nearly all cases categorized as UFOs.

My guess (especially for those in the second video that are along a line) is that they are some plasma concentrations that went in glowing or even arc mode for a period.

It is a phenomenon called ball lightning.

      • Thanks mate, but unfortunately it is probably too late for us and prayers can’t help. Our politicians should be executed!

Anyway, we managed to survive for some 4000+ years, we will find a way again :-)

On the topic, i will need to write some things about electric currents in the atmosphere cause most people believe that the only electricity we have is thunders but that is far from the truth. There is a lot of electricity up there and most of it is not visible.

I will see into it tomorrow.

  6. Sorry, but I am not convinced at all. The strange sound from the sky (or earth?) fascinates me – but as you yourself point out, there are so many fakes. Nevertheless, and despite this, some I do think are genuine, and I find that ominous, as well as interesting. As for these “lights”, however, they are so far away from the viewer that it is impossible to tell what they are. I have seen people call lights “ufo’s” when they in reality were nothing more than distant aeroplanes coming in for landing – at which stage the bright landing lights would be on. Sometimes landing planes come in formation, with several back one another. More importantly, to observers on the ground, dependant on where they are looking, the object/s may appear to “hover”, when in fact this is a trick of perspective – where the plane is coming down on a ILS beam for example. At a certain point, and distance in front of the descending plane, it will look almost like the “object”=plane stops mid air. Anyway, these lights are as I started my comment, so far away that it is impossible to pass an opinion.

  7. I live in buckeye, az and I’ve seen these lights for the past 5 months south of the I 10. I am an air force vet and very familiar with the 16s that fly around here and the flares they discharge after flying their sorties. These lights r not flares or ball lightening because they are in formation. They appear as if on a dimmer switch and disappear the same. Strange. I don’t know what they r.

    • @melly

I believe that those talking about flares were not referring to decoy flares but to those used for illumination. Anyway they are not flares.

The fact that they are in formation makes me say that they are plasma discharges similar to ball lightning. That is because most electrical phenomena move along a path that pinches at specific points.

An electrical phenomenon having the form of bright dots is the Bead Lightning (also called pearl lightning) that is practically a lightning discharge composed by small disconnected dots that last longer than the normal lightning.

As I’ve mentioned already before, most of the electricity flowing in the atmosphere is not visible. Every ion/electron stream is practically an electric current and those streams have a tendency to form filaments (there is some theory behind that but lets leave it for now).

Now having more than one filaments running in parallel (that is more than one currents running in parallel) those filaments behave like wires and the same rules apply to them. So if two filaments run in parallel in the same direction they attract each other and they tend to rap around one another forming something like a twisted pair wire.

These currents are called Birkeland currents (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birkeland_current) and there is a tendency in such currents to pinch under some conditions in the points of close proximity of their components.

The ways electricity manifests itself are much to many and we’re not familiar with most of them because existing theories they were neglecting electric activity till recently as being minor. This view seems to change lately.

It’s worth checking the various lightning phenomena (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightning) as well as the upper atmospheric lightning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upper-atmospheric_lightning)

  8. Just to point it out, since no one did this… There are real flares in the video and they can be seen when the video repeats with a better close on the lights. There are two on both sides of the image, but, as everyone can see, they move ALONG with the camera, “reacting” to the angle of the lenses. They follow the shaking and the movements while he 3 main lights stay “steady”.

My opinion is that we cannot call it alien visitors for sure, but that can be alien technology. Many former employees of Area 51, US Army and other US government related offices already talked about reverse technology on crashed UFO’s and other related events (or maybe i’m watching Discovery and History Channel too much haha)

  10. I live in peoria AZ , For the last week I have been sleeping with the window down. And have been waking up to low booming noises, Sounds like artilary fire. Exact match to the sound sample this guy has on you tube from Clintonville WS. just after dinner I heard it again about 850 pm tonight. Also saw a bright White flash in the eastern sky 90 degrees , position angle 20. it happened back in feb. No question about it not from the ground. My friend was a witness as well. There was no sound.

    • Thank you. I love this guys videos. I always feel a tad ill after watching them, but I can’t look away.

  11. One cannot deny the signs, as you also have been investigating Jayman

Full Moon added on a GOOD FRIDAY – April 6th
