The witness claims the “noise” has returned to Oshawa and he filmed this January 29th at 9:00pm. It isn’t the same sound but it’s a sky roar. Oddly he doesn’t point out that it’s different. I take points off for not being able to see surroundings but it’s a plain old loud “sky roar“. What does this mean? Here we have the “snore” (I’m going to call it a sky dragon sound), and a week later we have a sky roar in the same place. We’ve never recorded the two “types” (see here) in the same place. If this is real, and it probably is, all signs point to the atmosphere as a source. The roar and the sky dragon sound are related and part of the same phenomenon. This is a huge connection that we’ve discovered. This kind of discovery is why I like writing this blog.
And here it is in Alaska. They thought it was jets and say it’s recurring. Both videos are far north, but this means nothing because we have examples from Florida. One thing is certain, sky roars are becoming more frequent.
There is a major air force base about 60km from Oshawa at Trenton…to me they sound like jets. Perhaps not.
They do. But they don’t have a doppler effect and stay for hours.
I find the Oshawa noise and it’s possible conspiratorial connections intriguing. Now the fact that there is another sky sound really makes me interested. And adding on top of all the I wrote about this on my blog as well (www.paraview.wordpress.com) and a commenter told of UFO’s and power outages.
I have to say I’m sort of glad to see this video because ever since last week, when I go out at night to have a smoke, I swear I’ve been hearing sky roars – but then I quickly convince myself that I’m just being a lunatic because of all the recent sky noise videos I’ve been watching, and the time I’ve been spending on this blog (I did originally report the Oshawa sound, after all)
Even my roomate texted me the other night while I was in Toronto laughing that he’s pretty sure he just heard the “trumpets of the Apocalypse” right there in Oshawa…or at least something strange…and my coworkers have been discussing strange noises at night now too – on other nights than just the first one.
I’m going to have to start bringing my phone out and recording things…
I have a sneaking suspicion it’s happening more than we are capturing on YT, because roars are less obvious than the original snoring sound.

The possiblity of fighter jets ‘ could ‘ be possible sourcing of strange sounds that roar.
I’ve heard them low in Oshawa every once and awhile-military choppers/ low 130′s included.

I live in oshawa near simcoe and taunton, im 22 yrs old and do not bs ppl i heard that same sound this morn at around three…i cried my eyes out plz if u could contact me and let me know anything also i can start recording the noises i havent as im not the type to accually record n submit things (also im stunned scared when it happens) but its really starting to get to me it and i want to help u guys study and figure out whats happening

Man it just happened again at 4:14 it was right ober US its sounded like such loud wind it was deafening but not a breeze in the air everybody around the area stopped in absolute horror im thinking i should move back to haliburton the way it makes us feel all we can do is cry….

Will do we have an iphone 4 we made small recordings here n there of the ongoing night inccidents but never at its loudest but we will try and hopefully we will have somthing within the next 12-24 hrs its litteratly that bad like i wish u could be there, its north oshawa and i know for a fact it has nooothing to do with the airport somthing that loud you would definatly see t hell it would have to be right on top of u the noises were faint until lastnight and today, now its louder u can always hear the roar of the regular world but this noise is so odd it stands out from any other noise i swear to u the birds even stop i hope someone from the kfc nofrills area on simcoe st n can second this….
Be sure to look at the historical info in the categories. It was recorded 150 years ago and nothing happened. Don’t worry it’s unusual but probably natural.
It has nothing to do with sun flares. Despite what the conspiracy theorists will tell you, CMEs cannot produce these sounds. If they could, you would have heard them all over the place from 2000 to 2004 during the last solar cycle. But it isn’t physically possible. Auroras occur over 100 km high where the air is so rare sound is virtually absent. Electromagnetic waves (another crackpot theory) won’t deposit noise on a video player, because they supposedly interact with your brain to make you think you’re hearing things (yeah right). Electronics in cameras is impervious to those waves. If these sounds are real, something real is causing them. But it isn’t the sun or the effects of the sun. Pop that bubble of a myth, please.

This is similar to a noise I hear in my area (Connecticut suburbs) a lot of times at night when there is less noise because it’s a very populated area. We have a lot of different sources of noise and ever since I started seeing these videos popping up I’ve been listening closely and picking out the sounds I know, like planes, trains in the distance, construction, and cars on the main drag. I think I’ve always thought if it wasn’t any of those things it must be wind.. but now I don’t know. I always thought it was kind of weird when I heard the rumble, but I used to dismiss it as any of these things. Now, I just want to be careful that I’m not making something out of nothing because I’ve become interested in these videos.
Also, today I heard what I think was a sonic boom, but there wasn’t a big mystery there I saw the jet that made it. It did sound a lot like parts of some of the videos I’ve seen. There was this high pitched noise that sounded like this one video where the guy is walking outside in the snow but his noise keeps going. There’s a major airport a few towns over and a small airport nearby so there are a lot of low flying planes. I can usually tell an airplane, but because there is so much air traffic I can’t be sure if a weird noise is really weird or just an unusual plane noise because of weather conditions. I don’t really know a lot about this stuff. I’m just curious…
I think I might try recording the rumbling noise if I hear it tomorrow night. I could actually hear it outside a few minutes ago from my room but I need to charge my video recorder and the sound is in and out.
