A mystery signal appears to be jamming remotes for garage doors in a tiny community in Colorado. It’s unknown what is causing this but some speculate it’s military communication equipment. Small objects can jam signals but not over a half mile radius. More info here.
It is believed that HAARP can jam communication frequencies. For what HAARP is please see this post for more info. I doubt this is the case but it’s food for thought.
A RANT: I can’t understand why pea-brained, wink, wink newscasters have to make light of anything that can’t be explained. I suppose it’s fear of the unexplained or fear of being on the side of people that believe things aren’t always explainable. The purpose of the media seems to be about instilling fear in people on a daily basis, then offering them reassurances that they should be trusted to provide the answers. Just like the below post about mystery sky booms where they will latch on to any lame explanation just to prove they have the answers. We can’t go through life believing everything we’re told and not thinking critically. If we blindly believe that everything we’re told is true, then we will believe that jumping off a cliff won’t hurt us.
