In all of my searching for strange sound phenomenon I’ve begun to notice an interesting trend lately. Recently there have been a number of unexplained booms on the east side of the US. Some are unsolved, some are attributed to earthquakes, some according to witnesses are accompanied by fire balls in the sky and some are said to be sonic booms or Seneca guns. They all have one thing in common and that is the sound of an explosion or sonic boom. In all cases the ground shakes. The only one here attributed to an earthquake is the one in Dalton, Georgia and that was announced 2 hours after it happened…hmmm, but witnesses claim the boom came from the sky and that’s why I’m including it. In the other places no seismic activity was detected.
These news videos are from Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and New Jersey. There are probably more but these are the ones that I found.

And here is one from Sheilaaliens, a youtube blogger. She apparently noticed this too and has created a video with more sky booms or rumbling. Her video is very informative. She also shows how some were explained away except they all seem like bullshit to me given that most of the “explanations” don’t make sense in terms of the huge areas that the booms were heard. She seems skeptical too.

In Brazil it was reported a case of explosive sound in a leading newspaper in the country. the noise happened at dawn, followed by earthquake, and alarmed the inhabitants of the city of Taubate, in the state of Sao Paulo. Um, last night I was outside smoking a cigarette somewherw aroubd 7/8pm in Hampton, NJ (Hunterdon County between Clinton and Bloomsbury near Rt 78) …. All of a sudden there was a series of incredibly LOUD explosive sounds like bombi.g and the dark sky lit up like a bright white mushroom cloud from a nuclear bomb followed by more explosion sounds in fast succession … Did anyone else see or hear anything, or am I crazy? When I tried to search online for anything strange or accidents happening in NJ, I ended up here! Figured I’d ask, because it was that bizarre!
