This was filmed at night in Indianapolis, Indiana. She says it lasted for hours and sounded like someone was banging on the sky. She claims she could still hear it even as she posted the video. She says it’s not a plane or thunder and is baffled by it.
This is not a sound that has been previously recorded. I honestly don’t know what to make of it. I listened to it at least ten times. It sounds like someone inside of a huge metal tank banging for help to get out. Seems genuine but since it actually sounds like someone banging on something it’s hard to say if it’s real. If you listen a few times it doesn’t quite sound like true banging and starts to take on it own character as a yet another bizarre sky noise. At first I thought it was hammering but that’s not it. It’s not banging on metal, see 2:02. The closest thing I can find is door knocking. The “door knocking” in her video sounds urgent and like it’s on heavy steel. But if you listen not only is it persistent but it echos with varied tones. Why would someone bang on metal for hours in the middle of the night. With the urgency of the knocking you would expect to hear screaming.
As I post these videos it’s getting much harder to see any relationships between them and it seems as though the events are becoming more varied. Lately it hasn’t just been roaring sounds being recorded but new and not previously heard noises.
