These sky noises were recorded in Palestine, Ohio and Jerez, Spain.

Both sound very similar. While these are definitely roaring sounds they are somewhat mechanical. It may be a stretch but interestingly both started at 1:30am even though the time zones are different. They lasted 30 minutes to over an hour. And that’s not all! They are also approximately the same longitude on the map (see inset).

Why do these sounds often but not always occur in the middle of the night?

The Jerez video has a very short description. In the Ohio video the witness gives commentary as he records it. He states that he lived in the same area for over ten years and has never heard this before. He says it sounds like a tornado 5 miles away but there is nothing in the direction it came from except houses and woods. Neither YT poster has related videos. Interestingly the Ohio person mentions Coast to Coast AM which is a popular conspiracy site. In this case I feel that he is sharing this because he became aware of it listening to Coast AM. He says it has been going on for two months and that he ignored it until Coast AM talked about it happening in nearby areas. He says there is a factory nearby but it’s shutdown for the night. He doesn’t believe it’s traffic, jet or train. We’ve encountered many videos with the “roar” but lately we’re seeing more “roaring” with mechanical sounds. The presence of mechanical noises makes me question whether these events are natural. Here is another example of loud but distant mechanical roaring in a wooded area. Note how when the car goes by you can really hear the contrast and how it gives you a better idea of the volume of the sound.
